60% mixed old vines (from a vine under control by Quinta do Vallado in the Torto River Valley) and 40% Touriga Nacional from Quinta do Vallado. The grapes (50% of them with stems) were fermented during 4 days in presses with footfoot periodic. The wine aged for 20 months in stainless steel tanks. Deep and strong nose, with intense aromas of dark fruits. full bodied with ripe and smooth tannins. Excellent structure and complexity, with very long finish. Contains sulfites.

Vinification in tanning at 28ºC with stalks. Aging 24 months in used wooden barrels. Red color with brownish tones, leather aromas, black fruits, black tea, violets and hazelnut. Villa Oliveira Touriga Nacional Magnum Red
This wine expresses the desire to make a Touriga Nacional from old vines. In a region where the old vineyard consists of a wide range of grape varieties mixed in the same plot. In 2009, 3,500 kg of Touriga Nacional were harvested from a single 80-year-old vineyard, which implied making a choice of Touriga Nacional grape varieties in the large set of grape varieties of that parcel. Vinification was done in a cement vat with pre- and post-fermentative maceration. Aging for 1 year in 225 liter French oak barrels. Opaque red color, aroma of red fruits with spicy notes. Herdade do Peso Essência Red
After malolactic fermentation the wines were tranferred separately to new barrels (60%) and 4 years (40%) of French oak, where they trained for about 12 months until the final batch. After bottling, a temperature controlled stage of 15ºC is followed for 6 months in order to achieve the appropriate balance for its consumption. To preserve its great quality, it was bottled without treatment by the cold and without glue so that a slight deposit can form in the bottle. The elegance and balance of the Herdade do Peso Essência 2014 make this wine the perfect accompaniment to the tasty meat dishes of the rich Alentejo gastronomy.

Quinta da Boavista Vinha do Ujo 3L Red
Located near Pinhão on the right bank of the Douro and with a spectacular view of the river, Quinta da Boavista is one of the most iconic properties in the region, known not only for its historical connection to Baron de Forrester but also for its 40 hectares of high quality vineyards. The Vine of the Ujo was planted in 1930 in pre-phylloxeric horizontal levels and the land is supported by small schist walls. Its more than 25 breeds spread on small terraces exposed to the sunset. The vineyard has an altitude that varies between 180 and 210 meters. Deep red and deep red wine. Impressive aroma that takes us to an orchard of bergamots, fresh wild scents, as well as floral notes and minerals, demonstrating a superb complexity and depth. In the mouth it is unique, impressing by the finesse and the beautiful integration with the wood. Long and persistent. Manual harvesting, destemming and soft smashing of berries. The fermentation of the grapes takes place in new barrels of French wood of 500 liters. After a period of maceration the resulting wine continues its stage for 16 months in barrels of 225 liters also of French oak.

Juvé Y Camps Reserva de La Familia Magnum White
Made mainly from the flower Macabeo wort, Xarel lo and Parellada harvested in our properties of Espiells, Can Massana and La Cuscona. Cava endowed with a bright and attractive pale golden color. It is tiny and abundant bubbles, rising forming numerous rosaries and a stable crown. Deep, intense and elegant, it evokes initially notes of ripe white fruits. Little by little, its complexity grows and the aromas of a long aging appear. Toasted bread and a certain citrus background to complete its distinction with the aroma. The creaminess of the foam is perfectly integrated in the palate, making its passage through the mouth. It is both fresh, ample and suggestive.
