Alves de Sousa Abandonado 2019 Red
Total destemming. 9 days of fermentation at 20-22ºC. 10 days maceration. Aging for 22 months in new and 2nd year French and Portuguese oak barrels. Deep ruby color. Great complexity and aromatic freshness, with unusual (but typical of the Abandonado vineyard) balsamic and tar, licorice and black fruit notes. Mouth full of harmony, with intensity but also delicacy, minerality and an extraordinary purity of the fruit. You can feel the schist of the soils, the surrounding forest, the freshness of the altitude, in a pure expression of the nature of the vineyard. An exercise in pure elegance and class from one of the most iconic vineyards in the Douro and Portugal. Contains sulfites.
Alves de Sousa Berço White
Gold color. Floral aromas, orange peel, cinnamon and other spices. In the mouth it is surprisingly dry, silky and with a large structure. A deeply different and unique wine. Very long finish. Contains Sulfites.
Alves de Sousa Pessoal White
This wine translates a very personal reinterpretation of the tradition of White Ports of an old vineyard in the form of a singular white Douro. It is a wine of golden color, with a strong structure and balanced in the fruit and the wood. Perfect to accompany fish, seafood and sushi dishes. Contains Sulfites.

"Great Choice" is the highest quality level of Douro wines. This wine is attributed for the excellence obtained in the best old vineyards of Vale da Raposa. With 15 native varieties combined it is an excellent representative of the unique character of the old Douro vineyards. The combined expression of the different grape varieties in the vineyard and winery results in great complexity and great class. Deep ruby color. Sour cherries, dark chocolate, violets and cigar box. Very complex and classy, elegant, engaging and in great harmony. Long ending. Contains Sulfites.

Ruby color. Flavors of currants, violets, pine and dark chocolate. Smooth, very elegant and complex, featuring dark plums and a hint of very refined coffee. Great class and elegance. Perfect to accompany roasts, meats and cheeses. Serve at 17ºC and 20 minutes after opening. Contains Sulfites.

Clear and citric. A very fine and expressive aroma, with notes of grapefruit, lime, cut herb and light toasted. Envelope, mineral, complex, very pure fruit. Full of elegance and freshness. Stage in 50% in new French oak barrels, 50% in stainless steel tank, with battonage for 6 months. Contains Sulfites.

Deep ruby color. Flavors of eucalyptus leaf and blackberries, with a soft touch of tar. Fresh, with a solid structure, but always balanced and harmonious. Robust but well integrated tannins. Long finish. Contains Sulfites.

Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels. Great aromatic expressiveness, with floral notes (orange blossom, violets), pink pepper, fresh blackberries. Classy mouth, super elegant, with very fine tannins, freshness and fruit.
