Total destemming, cold pre-fermentation maceration and alcoholic fermentation at 14 ° C. Final fermentation stage in new French oak barrels for 2 months. Citrus green color, complex aroma, with discrete white pulp fruits and notes of toasted nuts such as almond, hazelnut and apricot. Fruity flavor, balanced, with excellent volume in the mouth and with buttery notes. Contains sulfites.
Domaine Bonnard Pouilly Fumé White
The wine is made in the Loire Valley, from the Sauvignon Blanc variety, which is immediately noticeable in the aroma, full of notes of green vegetable, cut grass and a slight tropical note of passion fruit. Beautiful acidity, has a light body but very capable to accompany both seafood and some cheeses like Camembert. It will already be at its best so it deserves no guard. Contains Sulfites.
Lavradores de Feitoria Vinha do Sobreiro Red
Manual harvest in small boxes. Fermentation in granite presses, aging in new French oak barrels for 12 months. Bright red color, with a reddish meniscus. On the nose it is fine, elegant, floral and fruity. The very discreet and well-integrated wood contributes to its complexity and aromatic enrichment. Balanced and full of aromatic notes, reminiscent of ripe red fruits. It has a lively but balanced acidity, soft tannins and a very long and very pleasant finish. Contains sulfites.
Três Bagos Reserva Red
Fermentation in stainless steel. Staged 50% of the lot in stainless steel; 25% in new French oak barrels and 25% in second-year French oak barrels for 11 months. Vivid red color, almost opaque. The nose is rich, fresh and quite complex, where the fruity character of well-ripe grapes predominates. The discreet and well integrated wood in the wine, contributes to its complexity and aromatic enrichment. In the mouth it is intense, full of aromatic notes to very ripe red fruits, with balanced acidity and soft but present tannins. Monte Velho Biológico Red
Destemming, crushing, alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats with controlled temperatures (22 to 25ºC), pressing followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats. Clean appearance, intense ruby color. Aromas of wild berries, cherries, blackberries. In the mouth it is intense and consistent, with notes of ripe but fresh black fruit, elegant and persistent tannins, which are expressed in a long and expressive finish. Contains sulfites.
Quinta do Portal Grande Reserva White
Manual harvest and then transported in pallets. Partial fermentation in stainless steel vats, finished in old oak casks. Stage in the same hulls for 20 months. The bright yellow hue immediately catches the eye! It presents an aromatic complexity where there is a mix of floral, with dominance of white flowers, and ripe fruity yellow pulp and dehydrated fruit. In the mouth the notes of toasted wood take to another dimension, warmer and more complex, always accompanied with a beautiful acidity and surrounding volume. Final with an intoxicating freshness! Malvasia Preta is one of the oldest varieties in the Douro, being present among the Vinhas Velhas of the region, although it was never produced as a single variety. With a distinct profile, it is combined with varieties such as Rufete, Tinta Francisca and Bastardo, which present more exotic and elegant wine profiles, living on intensity and acidity, as opposed to the structured and potent profile that the Douro usually presents us with. The curiosity that leads us to experiment with Malvasia Preta, essentially arises from the fact that it is an original variety from the Douro, being present in the region and resisting the harsh conditions of the terroir. Grapes carefully selected from 8 parcels: Parcela Major - Touriga Nacional 30%, Parcela Vinha dos Amores - Touriga Nacional 20%, Parcela Rachadouro - Tinta Roriz 10%, Parcela Alminhas - Jaen 10%, Parcela Alto dos Amores - Alfrocheiro 7.5 % , Parcela Matinha - Alicante Bouschet 7.5 %, Parcela Alagoa - Tinto Cão 7.5 % and Parcela Casal Sancho - Alfrocheiro 7.5 %. Wine made with 90% Arinto-dos-Azores, the remaining 10% in Verdelho and Terrantez-do-pico. The grapes come from a selected area of the vineyards of Solar Terra Brum, located in Areia Larga, with old vines and native varieties. This wine fermented in chilled cement tulips using indigenous yeasts, with subsequent aging for 23 months in contact with the lees.
