The grapes are harvested from the oldest vineyards at the Quinta which is 550 meters above sea level, facing north, with a mixture of various traditional Douro grape varieties. Fermentation started in a mill with foot treading and ended malolactic fermentation in used 500-liter barrels, where it aged for 19 months. This wine proves to be an intense fruit, with spices and a lot of "finesse". It is a very complex wine, but even cool and elegant weather. Contains sulfites.
Quinta Seara D’Ordens Talentvs Altitude White
The grapes are harvested from the oldest vineyards of the Quinta "at altitude" with a mixture of several traditional Douro varieties. Fermentation started in a press with foot treading and ended in used barrels, where it aged for 16 months with battonage on the lees. This tanning is dominated by the yellow tones in the mouth and reveals a sensation of fat, velvety and persistent tannins. It is quite complex, fresh, mineral and full of character. Tricot is a four-handed wine that faithfully portrays the beauty and tranquility of the Alentejo. It is born of the care and dedication of two winemakers who have combined their visions and experience of many harvests to produce unique wines, which are the purest expression of each region. Manual harvest in 15 kg boxes with the strict selection at the entrance of the cellar. Vinification in stainless steel vats with maceration after fermentation. Stage for 18 months in French oak barrels, 30% new and 70% used. Ruby red color. The character of the vineyards of the Serra de São Mamede is very present in this wine, bringing freshness and minimality. The harvest took place in perfect atmospheric conditions. This wine that comes from the south of the Douro border, granite soils, mixes several white and red varieties. Hand-picked grapes for small boxes, perfectly matured. The bunches were placed whole in a stainless steel tank. The fermentation began within the grapes, and only then the masses were pressed and the fermentation finished. Most of the wine staged in the stainless steel tank, only 20% was staged for 10 months in used barrels. Aroma of forest fruits, silk tannins, lively acidity that surprises and brings a lot of freshness and vibration. Contains Sulfites.
Contraste White
The grapes are chilled and then pressed in a pneumatic press. Cold decanting, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel barrels and vats with regular buffering up to one month before bottling. Aging 6 months in new and used French oak barrels (30% of wine) and stainless steel vats (70%), with regular bâtonnage. It is a rich and concentrated white wine, but very precisely in citrus fruit and notorious minerality. Contains Sulfites.
