Produced from Rabigato, Viosinho, Arinto and Fernão Pires, this Superior white aged in French oak barrels for between 6 and 8 months. It presents corcitrin and aromatic complexity in excellent combination with mineral notes. In the mouth, it reveals body, elegance and a fine acidity, well present and balancing the entire structure and volume of the wine. Edition of 3000 bottles. Contains sulfites.

50% vinified in stainless steel to bring out the citrus fruit, 50% in used 500L barrels and foudre to provide greasiness and texture in the mouth using bâtonnage for six months. The grapes are hand-picked to preserve their freshness and aromatic intensity. Its captivating acidity makes it a gastronomic and versatile wine, revealing a good aging potential. Very mature aroma, with complexity and depth. Presence of chocolate and tobacco in the mouth. Well composed, good acidity to give freshness, firm tannins, medium body and very attractive.

Encoberta is the name of a small town in Penalva do Castelo (Castendo sub-region), where this wine was made with its own grapes. Vineyards aged 28 years at an altitude of 460 m with granite and clay soils are being converted to organic certification since 2020. It ferments with indigenous yeasts in French oak vats and with 35% whole bunch followed by 30 days of cuvaison. Aged for 15 months in used French oak barrels and vats. Naturally stabilized. It is a very characteristic red from Dão, from Penalva do Castelo. A little more fruity, denser and more textured than Serra da Estrela wines, black fruit and spicy notes also in the mouth. Dry, some earthy character, and a slightly tannic finish. Contains sulfites.

The summer was hot, but Estremoz kept the great thermal amplitudes that are so characteristic and that are essencial for the plant to achieve slow ripeness in order to obtain grapes with an exemplary balance between alcohol and acidity. If we add details such as the proximity of the cellar to the vineyards, the soft presses, the low fermentation temperatures and the rest in French oak barrels, it will be easy to see why we have been able to reprint this edition of Tiago Cabaço Vinhas Velhas. Transport in 20 kg boxes, destemming with crushing, pre-fermentation maceration for 48 hours, inoculation followed by fermentation in stainless steel vats below 24ºC. Aging in French oak barrels where it remains for 10 months. Good aromatic impact, with ripe white fruit and notes of wood, but forming a balanced whole. Serious and with good austerity. Good volume in the mouth and discreet but present acidity. Contains Sulfites.

Classic vinification in stainless steel vats with smooth skin maceration. Fermentation with controlled temperature up to 26 º C. Maceration cared for 5 days. Aged for 8 months in French oak. Clear appearance. red color with hints of garnet, reveals notes of red fruit with hints of raspberry, light blueberry, complexed with nuances of cinnamon and cloves, flanked by fresh vanilla expressions. It presents a very elegant and balanced body, with velvety and round tannins, with good expression of balsamic and pine notes. Defines an exquisite sensory cut with a long, fresh and mineral finish. 1333 bottles were produced. Contains Sulfites.

The Alvarinho grapes, produced according to the concepts of organic farming where we protect the wine-growing ecosystem, promoting biodiversity and environmental sustainability, are harvested manually in the older vineyards with more than 40 years of existence in Quinta de Soalheiro, the First Vineyards. Currently, we still have a selection of Alvarinho grapes planted in Pé-franco. The grapes, exclusively from the Alvarinho variety, are harvested manually in small capacity boxes and transported to the winery in a short time. After pressing, the decanted w decants for 48 hours, followed by fermentation at controlled temperature. The fermentation takes place essentially in stainless steel (about 15% of the total volume is fermented in used oak barrels), with maintenance of the fine lees until the beginning of May, the month in which the bottling takes place. In this harvest we also integrate into the Alvarinho lot with a large oak kite stage. Citrine yellow color, elegant and full aroma that grows in the glass, becoming more and more persistent. The flavor is full-bodied, fresh and with great gustatory complexity. Contains Sulfites.

Classic vinification in a mill. 12-month classic barrel stage. Classic nose profile, with raspberry notes and other incarnate fruit, fresh, and some evolution. mouth very interesting with complexity, pomegranates and strawberries. Despite some softness, it has intense tannins with flavor. Contains Sulfites.

This wine is the result of the unique combination of the Touriga Franca grape variety, one of the noblest grape varieties of the Douro, with Syrah, the great breed of the Rhôneb that has adapted very well to the "terroir" of the Douro valley. This Touriga Franca / Syrah is a sensational union of two great traditions, and an authentic expression of the remarkable diversity of Quinta da Romaneira's "terroir". Contains Sulfites.
