Encoberta is the name of a small town in Penalva do Castelo (Castendo sub-region), where this wine was made with its own grapes. Vineyards aged 28 years at an altitude of 460 m with granite and clay soils are being converted to organic certification since 2020. It ferments with indigenous yeasts in French oak vats and with 35% whole bunch followed by 30 days of cuvaison. Aged for 15 months in used French oak barrels and vats. Naturally stabilized. It is a very characteristic red from Dão, from Penalva do Castelo. A little more fruity, denser and more textured than Serra da Estrela wines, black fruit and spicy notes also in the mouth. Dry, some earthy character, and a slightly tannic finish. Contains sulfites.

Chão da Quinta Reserva Red
It is a wine with a brilliant appearance, with a deep ruby color with violet nuances. Elegant aromatically, the notes of very ripe red fruits, plum and blackberry are immediately evident, combined with a light touch of black pepper, cocoa and vanilla. The fermentation takes place in traditional cement tanks and pre-fermentation and post-fermentation is done, the stage is partially made in new French oak barrels for a year, and the whole process of stabilization for bottling is done in a natural way - we do not subject this wine to any type of filtration. Quinta dos Carvalhais Touriga Nacional Red
Quinta dos Carvalhais Touriga Nacional 2012 presents a ruby red color. It is an intense wine, with delicate aromas. The notes of ripe black and red fruit, the floral touch and the shrub nuances, which give it freshness, are very well involved in a set complemented by discrete notes of barrel where it staged. In the mouth it is elegant and balanced, with soft tannins giving structure and strength to the wine. In the aroma of the mouth are present all the notes that we find in the nose and that keep in a long and persistent end. Contains Sulfites.
Quinta do Perdigão Touriga Nacional Red
Fermented and matured in casks of 225 liters of oak wood from the finest cooperages in France for 12 months. Deep ruby color with purple reflections, complex scent of black plum, blackberry, fig, raspberry, blueberry, cassis, violet, tea ans bergamot. Balsamic, fresh breeze from the Mediterranean forest. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and tobacco. Sophisticated, elegant, full and fresh, with silky tannins.

Quinta do Perdigão Reserva Red
Deep grená color with purple reflections, aroma of blackberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, cherry and prune, marrying with mentholates, camphor, Provence herbs, earl gray tea, cocoa and walnut. It is intense and very fresh, with fine tannins and structuring. It is persistent. Reveals great guarding potential - it's memorable! Decant and serve at the temperature of 16º with fish dishes, red meats, cheeses and desserts. Contains Sulfites.
