Sanitary healthy grapes with good tannins and acidity ratio. Very ripe and elegant tannins without exaggeration of alcoholic maturation. 18 months of aging in used 700 liter barrels. Made from old vines Baga with some Touriga Nacional. Very aromatic, with peppery notes and wild fruits. An elegant floral touch. Lots of flavour, fresh and firm. Very gastronomic. Contains sulfites.
Kompassus Private Collection Red
Harvest in the 3rd week of October, in dry and hot weather - 35ºC. Balanced maturing, vintage with two choices. Fermentation in open winemaking with 20% of stink and steps on foot. 22 months of stage in new and used barrels of 400 and 700 liters. Full and opulent, perfumed with spicy notes, clay, red and black fruit, very complex, austere and elegant. Powerful but with velvety texture, very fresh acidity, long, seductive, but always serious and reserved.

Kompassus Magnum Bruto Rose
Harvest the last week of August. Balanced maturation, with 3-pass harvest. Fermentation at controlled temperature 14ºC. Grapes transported in perforated boxes of 15 kg. Dehydrated grapes followed by skin maceration. Pressing and fermentation in stainless steel. Stage on lees about 4 years. Dégorgement without added sugar - Brut Nature. With Baga and Touriga, it has a beautiful color of onion peel and a very fine, expressive but at the same time delicate aroma, with wild berries. The aromatic delicacy contrasts with the explosive mouth, resulting in a sparkling full of luster and flavor. Contains sulfites.

Balanced maturation, with a harvest of 3 passages. Fermentation with temperature control at 14ºC. Grapes transported in 15 kg perforated boxes. Light pressing with dry ice cooling. Stainless steel fermentation. Stage on lees for about 3 years. Dégorgement without added sugar - Brut Nature. Excellent aromatic presence, with hazelnut notes, and others that resemble toasted bread, baked apple. Unctuous in the mouth, with a very fine bubble, in a set with a very dry profile but very elegant, sophisticated, long, full of flavour. Delicious. Contains sulfites.

In 2016, when the 25 years dedicated to the production of wines from Bairrada are celebrated, João Póvoa marked the moment with the launch of Kompassus Baga 1991 - Private Collection. A wine that, as the name suggests, is part of its personal estate, kept since it was established in the production of wines with a trademark registered in 1991. The Kompassus Baga Private Collection 1991 is unique for the rare quality and quantity, and for this reason is released annually in limited quantities of 25 bottles. It is a commemorative edition and belongs to a Super Premium category. Made exclusively from the Baga variety, it was fermented in an open winery with sugar and aged in a 3000 liter tonl for a year and a half. In spite of his joyful 25 years, we still have a wine of intense color, very fine in the aroma and of great complexity of mouth. He shows himself to be the master of a great youth, full of strength and great refinement. In order to ensure the preservation of its quality for a quarter of a century, we only replace the cork so that it can be drunk and enjoyed without any embarrassment. Each bottle is special, unrepeatable and of incomparable excellence. Inside it awaits a piece of history waiting to be experienced. Contains Sulfites.
São João Lote Especial Red
GIZ Vinha das Cavaleiras Red
The grapes that make up this wine were destemmed and fermented in an open press with manual treading. Malolactic fermentation and prolonged aging of 20 months in new (70%) and used barrels, both French oak. Wine naturally stabilized during prolonged aging in barrel. 1400 bottles were produced. Complex and well-defined aroma, with notes of ripe cherry, blueberry and light floral traces. Cedar, forest floor, tobacco box and spice add aromatic complexity. In the mouth it shows to be an elegant wine, full of minerality and freshness, reflecting well the calcareous soils from which it comes. It is simultaneously a deep, structured and complex wine, with a long and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.
GIZ Vinhas Velhas Rose
Lightly pressed grapes with whole bunch. The resulting must was fermented in used barrels, followed by regular batonnage until the date of bottling. Tartaric and protein stabilization achieved naturally during an extended 10-month aging in a barrel. 1440 bottles were produced. Aromas of red, floral fruit. Suggestions of vanilla, brioche and spice add aromatic complexity. In the mouth it shows to be an elegant wine, full of minerality and freshness, reflecting well the calcareous soils from which it comes. It is simultaneously a deep, structured and complex wine. Contains sulfites.
