Herdade do Peso Essência Red
After malolactic fermentation the wines were tranferred separately to new barrels (60%) and 4 years (40%) of French oak, where they trained for about 12 months until the final batch. After bottling, a temperature controlled stage of 15ºC is followed for 6 months in order to achieve the appropriate balance for its consumption. To preserve its great quality, it was bottled without treatment by the cold and without glue so that a slight deposit can form in the bottle. The elegance and balance of the Herdade do Peso Essência 2014 make this wine the perfect accompaniment to the tasty meat dishes of the rich Alentejo gastronomy.

At 13 o'clock on January 19, 1919, the blue and white flag was unfurled, in a revolutionary act of reinstatement of the monarchy, previously abolished in 1910. Created for its restoration, the Tostões currency would make succession to the Kings. The duration of this regime was only 2 months once the revolution failed and the republic was reimplanted on February 23, 1919. A magnificent blend of the vineyards Alicante Bouschet, Aragonês, Touriga Nacional and Syrah. It is a balanced, full-bodied and persistent wine with a strong expressive character.

In 2015 we enjoyed long and slow maturations that our older strains and our best plots have taken advantage of to provide grapes with an exemplary balance between acidity and tannins. The two grape varieties that benefited most with the exceptional goodness of nature were Syrah and Alicante Bouschet, providing grapes in perfect maturity. With raw material so good we prefer to work them little, letting the grapes speak for themselves. That's why we did little more than one walk on our wineries, according to the most traditional methods of the region, followed by a stage in new barrels and barrels of second year of French oak, letting the wine express itself in the purest form . Very fleshy red color. Tense and closed, concentrated and powerful, floral and fruity, it ends with some earthy notes that add complexity. Average production of 17 months in 50% new, oak and year. without nose aromas of very ripe black fruit, licorice and Chinese ink, with more mineral notes and the quantities provided by the barrel, generating a good harmony. in the mouth it is potent, structured and with soft and round tannins, providing a considerable elegance. the enormous power of the foot when it began its stay in the oak, was softening with the last months of age and the child and from a wine with a perfectly integrated wood. ps 2016 needs a few years and is for its best qualities. Ideally, it should be done at least a year to begin to be enjoyed, however from your third stage will further develop the complexity and range of hues. Contains Sulfites.
Aalto Red
Wine of purple color, with aromas of intense fruits and wood in the background, bringing complexity without diminishing the sensation of freshness. Pintia Red
Pintia is located on the banks of the Douro River, within the denomination Toro. Alión Red
Prepared from the Tinto Fino grape variety, Alión Tinto is a truly unique wine. The grapes are harvested manually in 12 kg boxes and immediately transported to the cellar, where they are meticulously selected.
Fermentation is carried out in wooden vats with temperature control, allowing excellent extraction of polyphenols. This process gives the wine its generous color and firm structure, characteristics that define its unique personality.
After fermentation, Alión Tinto is aged for 12 to 14 months in French oak Bordeaux barrels, all new and from the most prestigious cooperages in Bordeaux. This step represents a significant investment, ensuring that each harvest benefits from the best oak.
Once bottled, the wine rests for at least 15 months, allowing the primary aromas of the fruit to merge harmoniously with the nuances acquired during aging. The result is a fleshy, complex and intense wine, where elegance stands out as the true signature of the winery.
Cistus Touriga Nacional Red
Vinification was carried out in stainless steel vats with temperature control. After a short post-fermentative maceration, the blend was aged in new French oak barrels (15 months). The batch underwent slight filtration before bottling, so that with aging in the bottle, it may form a deposit. Contains sulfites!
Tradicion Fino
This is a wine in full maturation, the result of a long aging under “flower” - a veil of yeasts, in American oak barrels by the solera and criaderas system. Very dry, it shows saltiness, complexity, intensity and length that are difficult to compare, offering a long persistence in the mouth. This is a rare kind of fine, pure, serious and traditional.
