It is a tanned white made with Malvasia-Fina grapes and a brief aging in barrels. In the past, they called it liquid gold and it was served at the table of many Beira manors.
Crushing with total stemming, fermentation was spontaneous with skin maceration for 15 days in stainless steel vats and aging for 6 months in used French oak barrels. The blend was made with the varieties 40% Encruzado, 30% Malvasia-Fina and 30% Cerceal-Branco.

Quinta do Crasto Tinta Roriz Red

The grapes from the best Tinta Roriz field at Quinta do Crasto were transported in boxes of 22 kg of food plastic and subjected to a rigorous sorting at the entrance of the winery. After a traditional mill tread, the masses were transferred to an open-top stainless steel vat and mechanical stems where they were fermented for 10 days at controlled temperature. After the alcoholic fermentation the grapes were gently pressed in hydraulic presses. Aged in new barrels of 225 liters of French oak for 18 months. It has an opaque, violet color laden with aroma of excellent aromatic intensity, where notes of ripe red fruits stand out, fresh notes of esteva, which resemble menthol notes. Very complex and inviting aroma. In the mouth has a powerful beginning, evolved to a wine of great volume, massive tannins but of elegant texture. All very well wrapped in retro nose scents that resemble red fruits. A very gastronomic wine of seductive character that finishes balanced and persistent. Contains Sulfites.

A limited edition of a wine that celebrates the great Arinto variety, as well as a great friendship. Manual harvest. Pre-fermentation maceration for 24 hours. Fermentation in 400L barrels for 10 to 15 days. 50% of the wine aged for 12 months in 400L French oak barrels. Yellow color with golden hints, aroma with great aromatic complexity.
