Quinta de Arcossó Arinto White

Mr. Amílcar chose to ferment this white wine, an Arinto from Quinta de Arcossó, directly in the Vidago region, 450 meters above sea level in Trás-os-Montes (Ribeira de Oura). He adopted a unique approach: 80% of the fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with ‘bâtonnage’, while the remaining 20% ​​was fermented in French oak barrels. After this process, this delicious Arinto was aged in bottles for 30 months.

Quinta de Arcossó, located in Trás-os-Montes, is a wine project dedicated to artisanal wine production. Using a minimalist winemaking approach, inspired by ancient techniques dating back to Roman times, the farm produces distinctive wines known for their notable acidity, ripe fruit and robust tannins. These wines, aged over time, are produced in limited quantities due to the artisanal care dedicated to each bottle.
