Encoberta Red
20,95 €
Encoberta is the name of a small town in Penalva do Castelo (Castendo sub-region), where this wine was made with its own grapes. Vineyards aged 28 years at an altitude of 460 m with granite and clay soils are being converted to organic certification since 2020. It ferments with indigenous yeasts in French oak vats and with 35% whole bunch followed by 30 days of cuvaison. Aged for 15 months in used French oak barrels and vats. Naturally stabilized. It is a very characteristic red from Dão, from Penalva do Castelo. A little more fruity, denser and more textured than Serra da Estrela wines, black fruit and spicy notes also in the mouth. Dry, some earthy character, and a slightly tannic finish. Contains sulfites.
Herédias Red
7,99 €
Herédias Red is an exceptional wine, coming from vineyards aged between 30 and 50 years. Manual harvesting and careful selection of grapes guarantee the superior quality of this wine.
Fermentation of Herédias Red takes place in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures, preserving the characteristic aromas and flavors. Aging 15% of the wine in French oak barrels for 6 months gives it a unique complexity.
When tasting Herédias Red, you will discover a young and complex wine, with striking notes of red fruits. In the mouth, it reveals elegance, good structure and volume, with a well-integrated acidity and a subtle influence of wood.
The long and persistent aftertaste of Herédias Red is the culmination of an unforgettable oenological experience. Enjoy this extraordinary wine, which represents the best of Portuguese wine production.
Flor de São José Reserva White

Grapes harvested by grape varieties and plots in boxes of 20 kg and placed in the cold at 5-6º C. After being fully destemmed they are crushed. The must was subtly pressed and decanted until it reached the necessary clarity. Fermentation and subsequent full aging in 500 liter barrels, 60% new and 40% used. The lees were removed every month to keep them in suspension. After eight months, the final blend was made and the wine was pasted before being bottled. In the mouth it is fresh, with a present acidity and very balanced. Fine, complex and very elegant, it shows an excellent balance between alcohol, fruit and acidity, and a lively, fine and quite long finish. Contains Sulfites.
