Mantuano is an excellent rum aged up to eight years in white oak barrels, which used to be used for bourbons and whiskey malt. Made from molasses of sugar cane and honey. Dark golden color, aroma of dried fruits (plums), oak and some spices. End of mouth complex and well balanced, with notes of nuts, wood and vanilla. It concludes with a harmonious and slightly dry finish. Ideal for tasty cocktails such as Mary Pickford and Negroni. It can also be enjoyed neat.

Originating from the West Indies Distillery in Barbados, this exceptional rum is made from molasses, with a fermentation process lasting 2-3 days and distilled using a blend of column and Gregg pot stills. Aged in the tropics for 8 years in 200L bourbon casks, and further aged for one more year in 400L Ferrand casks in Europe, it gains unparalleled complexity.
On the nose, it offers a fruity and spicy profile with notes of coconut, orange blossom, peach, and banana, enhanced by vanilla, roasted almond, cinnamon, and pepper. The palate is rich and spicy, mirroring the nose with a pastry profile of honey, hazelnut, and gingerbread, alongside notes of tobacco, chocolate, and caraway. The finish is long and fruity, with lemon, pear, liquorice, pepper, and toffee.

This rum is the result of these explorations, offering an exceptional and unique flavor profile.
Made from molasses, with a one-week fermentation and distilled using a blend of Port Mourant pot still and column still, the rum was distilled in 2007. It aged for 13 years in 200L bourbon barrels in the tropics, followed by 2 years in 350L Ferrand casks in Europe, gaining deep and rich complexity.
On the nose, it is intense and rich, with pastry notes of cocoa and almond, vanilla, and lime peel. The palate is rich and oily, following the nose with hints of flowers and orange, tobacco, raisins, berries, almond, and hazelnut, complemented by deep notes of balsamic and molasses, almost smoky, with leather and medicinal ginseng. The finish is very long, spicy, and fresh, with pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, licorice, and chocolate.
