Barbeito Sercial Vinha da Lage Harvest 2015
Barbeito Sercial Vinha da Lage Harvest 2015 is a unique expression of the vineyard located in Seixal, in the north of Madeira, where the proximity to the sea and constant salt spray give unique characteristics to the grapes. This wine is born from a careful process, where the grapes are crushed and pressed with stems, creating an exceptional must that, after fermentation, maintains a touch of sweetness, highlighting its complexity.
With a production limited to 1020 bottles, this Colheita 2015 is aged in 620 liter casks, in a warehouse with a wide temperature range that promotes slow evolution and incredible concentration in the wine. The initially reticent aroma opens up to reveal intriguing notes of curry, lavender, a vegetal sensation from the stem and a striking saline note. On the palate, vibrant acidity dominates, complemented by nuances of bitter almond, ripe citrus and dried vegetables, culminating in extremely pleasant bitter citrus finishes.

Pasmados Garrafeira White
This wine comes from the exclusive Quinta dos Pasmados region, in Azeitão. In 1998, the landmark decision was made to replace the Chardonnay grape variety with Viosinho, with the origin of Arinto and Esgana also being changed from clay-limestone soils to sandy soils. In 2005, with the aim of improving the complexity of the wine, the Viognier variety, cultivated in our vineyards for over 40 years, was added. Around 1999, winemaker Domingos Soares Franco came across several bottles of Pasmados White from 1963 in the cellars. Displaying a yellowish tone that testified to its natural aging, the aroma revealed evolution, remaining fine, velvety and subtly fruity. On the palate, it stands out for its pleasantness and surprisingly well structured, presenting exceptional quality and notable acidity. Inspired by this discovery, Domingos Soares Franco then decided to test the production of a Pasmados with aging potential, using the 1963 as a reference. The best vintages are stored in the cellar, small quantities of bottles being sold again years later under the almost forgotten name of Garrafeira. Also rescuing Garrafeira's classification, Pasmados Garrafeira was born. Contains sulfites.

Only produced in limited quantities, the Brut Rosé Vintage 2015 is aged in our cellars before being released to the market.

Horácio Simões Fortified Wine Castelão Red
The aging process intensifies the fruit, creating a complex palate that is characteristic of the great old liqueurs. This Bastardo is ideal for finishing a meal and becomes an inspiration for good conversation. It is produced according to the traditional method of the generous of the house. The grapes harvested by hand are stalked and crushed, followed by fermentation with maceration of the films to extract the best constituents. The addition of wine spirit establishes the balance between the body and the aroma of the wine, being the ideal moment established by the winemaking team after a rigorous control. Over the years, Generous Horácio Simões wines have been carefully transferred, tasted and analyzed and batch based on the teachings left by previous generations. Before leaving for the market the wines are evaluated by the tasters of the family (obligatory representation of 3 generations).

José de Sousa Puro Talha Red
In the cellar José de Sousa still some ancestor techniques of vinification are used, being the most emblematic the use of the carving in the fermentation of the grapes. The essence of small-scale winemaking has changed in over two thousand years. In this process, the grapes previously crushed on foot are stoned by hand on a ripening table. The fermentation takes place with 30% of the stalks, in hoists with an average capacity of 1,600 liters at a temperature that is around 28ºC, being controlled by watering the hoists 4 times a day. The fermentation takes approximately 8 days, leaving the wine in maceration after fermentation until November. After the pressing of the masses, part is staged in hoists for a period of around 16 months in which an olive oil film is used to prevent oxidation. The other part was stamped on 500-liter brown casks. At the same time, the rest of the stall was fermented in a "task" (small carving with capacity of 300 liters) with a little must. This product is called ripening wine because it is the result of this ancestral technique of manual destemming. This wine is used in the final lot as "salt and pepper". Color reddish brown, aroma of nuts, spices (black pepper, cloves), clay, liqueur, evolved but not oxidized. Taste robust, dry, good acidity, very balanced, tannins present but soft. Long and persistent end of test. Contains Sulfites.
Soito Reserva Touriga Nacional Red
Vinification is classic in a wine press with smooth skin maceration. Fermentation is controlled until the 26th for 9 days. The aging is done in French oak barrels for 15 months. Clear appearance, garnet color with violet reflections. Delicate and complete aroma with notes of blackberry and blueberry combined with menthol nuances, bergamot and fine spices. In the mouth it reveals excellent balance, velvety, intense and grandiose flavor, with the presence of rich and silky tannins. Complex and harmonious structure, reveals a unique minerality combined with a long aftertaste. It shows fineness, exquisite bouquet and a long persistence. 3333 bottles were produced. Produced in limited quantities, this Cuvée was aged for 6 years in cellars before being released on the market. This cuvée immediately captivates in the glass, with an attractive pale gold color and lingering strands of fine bubbles. On the nose, notes of buttery dough, meringue and white flowers, underpinned by a peppery freshness. On the palate, the cuvée is mouth-filling and opulent yet restrained. Complex aromas of citrus and brioche balance beautifully. The finish is stunning and seductive with hints of dried peach and hazelnut.

Prolonged tanning, stage in new French oak barrels and natural clarification helped by the cutting cold of the Serra da Estrela. Median ruby color, clear and deep aspect. In the nose is attractive, but something enigmatic, creating strong expectation for mouthpap. In the palate reveals itself amazing, except the freshness of acidity and the silky texture, checked by the berry, the density of the tannins, typical of the red dog, and the perfume, distinction and complexity brought by the National Touriga. Harmony is almost perfect and the gastronomic sense and the guard potential are guaranteed. It will be worth forgetting some bottles in the corner of the ballast, to live joys in a few years. Purple color and very deep, very complex and distinct aromas dominated by the fruity and floral character with spicy, fresh notes of mint from very discrete wood and well integrated into the wine. In the mouth it shows fruit, complexity with high level tannins that give it a long finish of mouth.

The wine was vinified in conical stem vats equipped with temperature control (25-28 ºC). Aging for 14 months in French oak barrels of 225 liters. Beautiful color with a vibrant, elegant and fresh fruit aroma with notes of wild berries and currant. Well cut and polished in the mouth, has a nice structure with a good volume of mouth some notes of very well integrated wood. It is an enveloping wine, but at the same time with a freshness and purity of fruit of note, which give it a charm of its own. It is ready to be consumed but has a good potential for bottle aging. Quinta dos Roques Reserva White
It is the first harvest of a white reserve Quinta dos Roques. And for the first release, the thing did not go wrong, a wine that presses, for the harmony, grace, balance and parsimony of aromas and flavors. Decantation for new and used 225L French oak barrels for 18 months. 12 months of aging in bottle before going to the market. Winemakers choose their favorite barrel to create the blend that best characterizes them. Concentrated ruby color. Complex aroma, with notes of spices and black fruit, pepper, vanilla and chocolate. Full-bodied, expressing the classic style of Dão wines. Noble tannins, good texture with great balance. Long, structured and deep finish. It will age beautifully in a bottle. Contains sulfites.
