This wine is produced exclusively from the property's vineyards, which extend over 4 hectares planted in 1986, with a mix of grape varieties where Tinta Roriz predominates.
The Mediterranean climate, combined with the schist soil and the altitude between 250m and 370m, provides the ideal conditions for the production of superior quality wine. Vinification is carried out in fermentation vats, followed by a 19-month aging period in large French oak vats, giving Quinta do Fojo Red 2016 a unique complexity and elegance.

Tricot is a four-handed wine that faithfully portrays the beauty and tranquility of the Alentejo. It is born of the care and dedication of two winemakers who have combined their visions and experience of many harvests to produce unique wines, which are the purest expression of each region. Manual harvest in 15 kg boxes with the strict selection at the entrance of the cellar. Vinification in stainless steel vats with maceration after fermentation. Stage for 18 months in French oak barrels, 30% new and 70% used. Ruby red color. The character of the vineyards of the Serra de São Mamede is very present in this wine, bringing freshness and minimality. Vinha do Altar Reserva White
The harvest took place in perfect atmospheric conditions. The properly selected and destemmed grapes were pressed in a pneumatic press, fermented at low temperatures over 4 weeks and aged on the fine lees for 6 months. Very vibrant citrus aroma, peach and floral notes. In the mouth it is an elegant white, very fresh with a slight greasiness, all in excellent harmony. Contains sulfites.

This wine that comes from the south of the Douro border, granite soils, mixes several white and red varieties. Hand-picked grapes for small boxes, perfectly matured. The bunches were placed whole in a stainless steel tank. The fermentation began within the grapes, and only then the masses were pressed and the fermentation finished. Most of the wine staged in the stainless steel tank, only 20% was staged for 10 months in used barrels. Aroma of forest fruits, silk tannins, lively acidity that surprises and brings a lot of freshness and vibration. Contains Sulfites.
Contraste White
The grapes are chilled and then pressed in a pneumatic press. Cold decanting, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel barrels and vats with regular buffering up to one month before bottling. Aging 6 months in new and used French oak barrels (30% of wine) and stainless steel vats (70%), with regular bâtonnage. It is a rich and concentrated white wine, but very precisely in citrus fruit and notorious minerality. Contains Sulfites.

Grapes harvested by hand and transported to the cellar in 20kg boxes, then placed in stainless steel vats with full bunch, where they are fermented with native yeast and minimal intervention. Aging for 18 months in stainless steel vat. Legitimate uses the normal Douro grape varieties, but seeks the same seductive appeal that the Bastard offers, a spicy and greedy lightness that makes it soft, fresh and appetizing. Grapes harvested by hand and transported to the cellar in 20kg boxes, then stepped on foot in granite presses, without destemming and without adding yeast. As soon as the alcoholic fermentation ends, the wine is transferred to stainless steel vats. Aging for 10 months in stainless steel vats. It has an aroma with very ripe strawberries and cherries, fresh leaves, aromatic herbs and spices. In the mouth it shows good definition and well-focused acidity, concentrated body, fine tannins and long finish. Complex, round, deep, a red that deceives the eye, with rosé color but with depth that belies visual impressions. Contains sulfites.

Cold decanting, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled French oak barrels and regular bottling up to one month before bottling. Aging 11 months in used French oak barrels, with regular bâtonnage and 6 months in bottle. It is a wine of extraordinary rarity, with incredible precision and definition, an expectation of longevity of 25 or more years, and immediately established itself as a cult white wine. Xisto Ilimitado Red
Wine from the areas of Cotas and Douro Ervedosa do Douro, aged between 30 and 60 years, planted on terraces and wide terraces, above 400 meters. Bright garnet color, high aromas of red and blue fruit tones, tinged with wet stone and violets. Exuberant on the palate, but with brilliant acidity to balance cherry and pomegranate red fruits, white pepper, slate and herbal aromas overlaying the fruit core in a juicy, fresh finish. Beautiful golden color, very fresh white fruit with mineral notes on the nose. Medium-bodied, very fresh appears subtle at the mouth entrance and is gaining richness, fat and complexity throughout the trial, with very ripe fruit and complexities resulting from the fermentation in wood. Quinta da Calçada Reserva Bruto Imperial White
Vineyards located at the foot of the Serra do Marão, with a strong maritime influence, the Alvarinho and Loureiro grapes were gently pressed. The must was fermented in French oak barrels and the wine was then aged there for 1 year. The elaboration, following the classic method, took place in our cellar at controlled temperature, followed by a one-year aging in bottle. Degorgement and 2 months of final stage in bottle were carried out. This sparkling wine has a bright yellow citrus color, with slight golden nuances. Elegant and persistent aroma, with light notes of brioche and dried fruits involved by the high salinity and minerality of the region. Good volume in the mouth, light toasted, complex and crunchy acidity resulting in a persistent and long finish. Contains sulfites.
Cartuxa Reserva Bruto White
Base wine produced from rigorously selected grapes harvested in the ideal maturation stage for production of a sparkling wine. Fermentation at controlled temperature, carried out in French oak barrels. Stage sore fine rubs for 6 months with periodic batonnage. Second fermentation in bottle by the classic method, followed by stage on sludge and intermediate batonnages during 5 years, in the cellars of the Cartuxa Monastery. Contains sulfites.

In 2015 we enjoyed long and slow maturations that our older strains and our best plots have taken advantage of to provide grapes with an exemplary balance between acidity and tannins. The two grape varieties that benefited most with the exceptional goodness of nature were Syrah and Alicante Bouschet, providing grapes in perfect maturity. With raw material so good we prefer to work them little, letting the grapes speak for themselves. That's why we did little more than one walk on our wineries, according to the most traditional methods of the region, followed by a stage in new barrels and barrels of second year of French oak, letting the wine express itself in the purest form .
Very fleshy red color. Tense and closed, concentrated and powerful, floral and fruity, it ends with some earthy notes that add complexity. Silky and velvety in texture, it is an intense and structured red, vigorous but not aggressive, complex and elegant, fresh finish and great guarding potential.

Singular White
The Singular is a Verdes Wine, produced mainly with grapes from Old Vines in conversion for organic production and selected exclusively by the oenologist. Citrine color with crystalline shades. It has aromas of tropical fruit with a rich and complex palate. A long and pleasant ending. Vocation to the table! This wine will evolve well in the next three to five years. Contains Sulfites.
Monólogo Malvasia Fina White
Grapes reception in the cellar in 24kg boxes. Manual selection followed by destemming, skin maceration and gentle pneumatic pressing. The must ferments in stainless steel vats at low temperature. Stabilization and light filtration. Special care was taken in the winemaking, minimizing any intervention, with the aim of producing a wine that expresses well the particularities of the grapes and terroir. Produced at Quinta de Santa Teresa, with grapes from the P70 plot, this Monólogo is a monovarieous wine with an aromatic profile, long in the mouth and persistent. These characteristics, typical of the variety, have been appreciated since ancient Greece, where Malvasia Fina comes from. On the nose we find freshness and smoky aromas, quartz and nutmeg. On the palate it is pleasant, balanced and unctuous, showing notes of granitic influence, spices and pear. Contains sulfites.

Monólogo Chardonnay P706, is a monocasta wine whose grapes come from Quinta dos Espinhosos. The grapes are cultivated using sustainable farming practices and the vineyards are converted to organic production. It is a wine with great complexity and elegance. Straw yellow color with crystalline tones. It has white fruit aromas with a rich and complex palate. A long and pleasant ending. Vocation to the table!
