Conceito Bastardo Tinto

Grapes are hand-harvested and transported to the winery in 20kg boxes, then foot-trodden in granite lagares, without destemming and without the addition of yeasts. As soon as alcoholic fermentation finishes, the wine is racked into stainless steel vats. It ages for 10 months in stainless steel vats. It has an aroma of very ripe strawberries and cherries, fresh leaves, aromatic herbs and spices. On the palate it shows good definition and well-focused acidity, concentrated body, fine tannins and a long finish. Complex, round, deep, a red that deceives the eye, with a rosé colour but with depth that belies the visual impressions. Contains sulphites.
