Guru Vinha da Calçada White is a wine that speaks of the land and time, coming from a century-old vineyard located at an altitude of 600 meters. This unique wine is the result of a harmonious mix of indigenous grape varieties, rooted in granite soil, which give the wine its distinct essence. Carefully fermented and aged in foudre, it was bottled in 2022, capturing the true expression of its terroir. On the nose, it is delicate, with notes of white citrus fruit that promise freshness. In the mouth, it surprises with its polish and balance, where the wood does not overpower but rather complements, integrating harmoniously to create a white wine of great elegance. Without any edges, the enveloping flavor extends into a soft and prolonged finish. Fresh grapes at their ideal point of maturation, picked by hand into 20 kg boxes, are transported to the cellar where they were subjected to a careful manual selection. They are destemmed, crushed and macerated for 48 hours, followed by French oak barrels, where they ferment and stash. This wine is a batch of wines from several years. It presents an intense straw color. Aromas of bread, honey, grapefruit, white flowers and wet stone. In the mouth it is a wine filled with layers, very voluminous and full of energy given its persistent freshness. Contains sulfites.
