On the plateau of Alijó, Samarrinho benefits from a cool climate which gives it a very interesting aromatic profile and a lot of acidity. However, it is in the warmer years of the Douro that Samarrinho presents the best wines, proving to be a very Douro variety! After being pressed in a pneumatic press, fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats without skin contact. The aging takes place over a period of 6 months, thus preserving all the freshness and varietal character of this fantastic grape variety. A great and very fresh white Douro that at first impression has slight nuances of minerals, followed by charming notes of white fruit. A very harmonious wine, showing itself intense and delicate at the same time with a lot of freshness and excellent volume of tasting and with surprising minerality. It has a medium body and a voluminous final finish, showing very peculiar characteristics. A wine with enormous potential for bottle aging. Contains Sulfites.
Carvalhas Tinta Francisca Red
A very original wine with an intense and fresh aroma where the notes of fruits of the forest and slight vegetal impressions are emphasized, creating a remarkable complexity. Intense of flavors, with a lot of presence, however it shows itself extremely elegant and ends with a long and fresh finish and very soft. Contains Sulfites.
Quinta de CIdrô Rufete Red
The Rufete variety reveals nobility for its ability to produce exotic reds with great potential for evolution in the bottle. A round wine with soft tannins, full bodied but at the same time elegant, with aromas of black and red fruit. The wines of caste Rufete are light in comparison to the typical Douros, however, they demonstrate a unique personality ending with a very long end of mouth. A clean, clear white of bright citrus color that shows all its splendor through very fine and delicate but very intense aromas with notes of fruit with nuances of vanilla and toast from the stage in wood. Although full bodied on the palate, it causes a feeling of lightness due to its freshness of tastes and lively acidity, ending with a very clean and refreshing persistence. Contains Sulfites.

It is an extremely original wine that escapes to styles and conventions. It is an excellent demonstration of the Douro's vincadíssimo character, where even a caste as striking as the Gewurztraminer is completely transformed by our region. We try to make a wine where the characteristics of the caste in terms of aroma and taste are very evident, but at the same time maintaining the character of the white wines of the Douro, our structure, minerality and acidity. It is therefore an extremely aromatic wine with aromas of Lychia and Rosa (so typical of this variety) very evident, but unlike the usual, dry, austere and with beautiful acidity. Contains Sulfites.

The Porca de Murça Reserva is passed through a fermentation in stainless steel vats before a stage of twelve months in French oak barrels, a process that allows to reach a harmonious and balanced structure. Fermentation and maceration take place in stainless steel barrels at a controlled temperature. 100% of the wine ages in French and American oak barrels for 8 to 10 months in excellent conditions of natural aging. Clean, deep and beautiful garnet color. Intense aromas of plums and cherries. A slight nuance of vanilla reflects the time required for the barrel to age, which does not interfere with its typicality. During tasting, the wine enters the palate with a true explosion of ripe fruit flavors, leaving in the end an expression of perfect structural harmony. Contains Sulfites.

The Real Companhia Velha Espumante Rosé Crude is the result of a careful selection of Pinot Noir from Quinta de Cidrô in São João da Pesqueira. A sparkling wine with a light pink color, with excellent expression on the nose, with floral notes and delicate nuances of red fruits, showing intensity and complexity. In the mouths, it shows volume, but a lot of elegance and finesse, with flavors that can be guessed in the nose, and a lively and refreshing acidity. Contains sulfites.
Séries Malvasia Preta Red
Malvasia Preta is one of the oldest varieties in the Douro, being present among the Vinhas Velhas of the region, although it was never produced as a single variety. With a distinct profile, it is combined with varieties such as Rufete, Tinta Francisca and Bastardo, which present more exotic and elegant wine profiles, living on intensity and acidity, as opposed to the structured and potent profile that the Douro usually presents us with. The curiosity that leads us to experiment with Malvasia Preta, essentially arises from the fact that it is an original variety from the Douro, being present in the region and resisting the harsh conditions of the terroir. Gouveio is one of the most well-known white grape varieties in the Douro, but rarely gives rise to monocasts. Given the irreverence and experimental record of the series series, the oenology team of this bicentennial wine company of Portugal anticipated the vintage of this variety, in order to preserve all its character in a fresh and balanced style. Thus, the 'Real Companhia Velha Séries Gouveio 2016' is an aromatically complex wine with delicate floral and white fruit notes with mineral suggestions and well-integrated vanilla nuances. In the mouth it is greedy, structured and very mineral, ending with an excellent acidity, which keeps the evidence alive and persistent resulting from the fermentation in stainless steel tanks with temperature control. During the stage, 50% of the wine was in new French oak barrels for a period of six months. Contains Sulfites.

The color is typical deep ruby of the breed. On the nose a slight highlight of vegetable nuances that combine with fine notes of ripe fruit and typical tertiary notes of variety such as coffee and spices, offering a lot of complexity and intensity.
