Horta Osório Touriga Nacional Rose

After manual harvesting, the grapes were transported in boxes of 18 kg capacity so as not to harm the integrity of the bunch. Once in the cellar, the boxes were unloaded onto a sorting mat for the first sorting of the grapes. This was followed by destemming, choosing berry by berry and crushing them, which were transported by gravity to a pneumatic press. After clarifying the must, alcoholic fermentation began in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures of around 12ºC, in order to preserve all the varietal character of the variety. Alcoholic fermentation took place for approximately 20 days, where the different components then staged for 8 months. It is a light salmon colored wine. In the aroma, it presents notes of very fresh red fruit, such as strawberry, fresh cherry, light currant and floral. In the mouth it is slightly structured with a lot of freshness to balance the entire tasting.

The grapes were harvested by caste and field, and at the time a rigorous qualitative selection was carried out. After gentle destemming and pressing, the grapes were transported by gravity to small stainless steel vats with temperature control, where they were vinified, caste to caste. The alcoholic fermentation occurred for about 8 days at an average temperature of about 27 ° C. 40% of the wine aged for 6 months in used French oak barrels of 225 liters, with the rest staged in stainless steel vats. After stage it was subjected to a light glue and filtration before bottling and was bottled without stabilization treatment by cold, which can cause the formation of deposit during its aging in bottle. Intense ruby ??color with violet tint. Aroma with presence of ripe red fruits, floral notes typical of Touriga Nacional. Balsamic character with fresh menthol notes. Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for 16 days. Bâtonnage weekly for two months. Pale salmon color. Exuberant aroma of fresh fruit, blueberry and floral notes. In the mouth, the excellent acidity gives it a notable freshness, it has good structure and a full and tasty finish.

The grapes were harvested very early, before the painter, to ensure acidity and natural freshness. They were hand-picked into small boxes in order to preserve their quality. After a careful selection and sorting at the entrance to the cellar, the grapes were destemmed and gently pressed. Fermentation took place at low temperatures in stainless steel vats. Part of the batch was fermented and aged in 500 liter used barrels. Pale pink color. Fine and delicate aroma. In Vila Nova de Tazem (Serra da Estrela sub-region) a 28-year-old vine of 100% hand-harvested Tinta Roriz grows. The commitment since 2020 to an option for organic farming in all our vineyards. The tear must ferments with indigenous yeasts in used 225 L French oak barrels. The wine ages for 11 months “sur lie” without batonnage and another 8 months in stainless steel. Naturally stabilized, it may show turbidity or deposit. A rosé wine with a more concentrated color, onion skin with hints of copper. Delicate aromas of red fruits and fermentation, like brioche. In the mouth, it has remarkable acidity and minerality, with touches of spices, especially black pepper. It has a dense yet elegant texture, quite salivating at the end as it calls for food.
