Very light palate, with the presence of fruit in the distance, everything calling for smoked salmon all around. GIZ Vinhas Velhas Rose
Lightly pressed grapes with whole bunch. The resulting must was fermented in used barrels, followed by regular batonnage until the date of bottling. Tartaric and protein stabilization achieved naturally during an extended 10-month aging in a barrel. 1440 bottles were produced. Aromas of red, floral fruit. Suggestions of vanilla, brioche and spice add aromatic complexity. In the mouth it shows to be an elegant wine, full of minerality and freshness, reflecting well the calcareous soils from which it comes. It is simultaneously a deep, structured and complex wine. Contains sulfites.
Caves São João 99 Anos de História Rose
The wine selected to portray the decade of 2010-2020 was a Rosé Pinot Noir from 2018 with Bairrada Denomination of Origin. This edition presents a theme alluding to the Higgs Boson, also called the God particle, which is an elementary particle, theoretically arising shortly after the Big Bang, discovered on March 14, 2013. Contains Sulfites.
