Outstanding for its exceptional features, the Sandeman Porto Vintage 2016 is a wine that will age in the bottle for 30 or 40 years. This excellent Vintage Porto 2016 is an example of Sandeman's commitment to the quality of Port wine. This wine has an opaque, almost black color. The aroma is intense and complex, with prominent notes of ripe black fruit, resin as well as notes of cocoa and chocolate as a result of its excellent maturation. Great volume on the palate with a vibrant, fresh acidity, firm, high-quality tannins, floral notes of stew and notes of black fruit and chocolate. A great invitation for the very long and elegant finale. Using the traditional technology of Port Wine, this wine was vinified in the Quinta do Seixo winery, grapes originating both there and in Quinta do Vau. In addition to the selection process, the grapes were subjected to crushing and stalking before undergoing a very intense maceration during alcoholic fermentation, by treading on granite wineries at controlled temperatures automatically. In honor of the Founder, this Reserve is one of the largest Ports of Sandeman. Selected from the best 'lots' of each vintage and aged for 5 years. Full of power, fruit and fire that distinguishes the classic Porto, the Sandeman Porto Founder's Reserve is the culmination of two hundred years of experience. Intense ruby ??red color, bright and clean. Aromas rich in red fruits with a touch of age create an elegant reflection of powerful flavors, the fruit and the fire characteristic of the young Porto classic, balanced with the delicacy of age. The Founder's Reserve of this Port is produced by the traditional method of Port Wine. Portal Vintage 2016 Ruby
Manual harvesting transported in small boxes. Laceration in stainless steel mill and vat at an approximate temperature of 28-30ºC. Stage of 1 year in hull, with filling in the second year. The great majority of the grapes come from the Pinhão River Valley where the Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz are able to withstand the heat that has occurred in the summer. These grapes have been added to other Douro valleys, which translates into a classic blend of the region. The fermentation took place in a mix of closed vats to guarantee the freshness and aromatic component, mill to guarantee greater complexity and structure. After a slow aging and care in our cellars in the Douro, this Vintage now has an intense and mature fruity, in addition to a floral that conveys excellent freshness. It shows a strong concentration and structure in the mouth accompanied always with a rich and aromatic component variability. A classic vintage definitely remembering other decades. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 14ºC-16ºC, in a stainless steel vat with drop musts or free draining from the press. The wine remains during the short stage in stainless steel vats with its fine lees, in order to guarantee complexity and longevity of the wine. Wine from must obtained only by free draining after crushing the berries. A wine with a slightly pink color and very elegant. It presents fresh and captivating aromas, predominating wild fruits, pomegranate, as well as a light floral. Very good acidity in the mouth, in a very balanced and seductive set. It ends with a slight and elegant bitterness, in a clear invitation for another drink. A gastronomic rosé but also excellent as an aperitif or reception drink! Contains Sulfites.

Vinified from grapes from farms in the Pinhão area, using traditional technology of Port Wine. Following the choice of grapes, crushing and destemming, very intense maceration is followed during the period of alcoholic fermentation, through stepping in granite wineries with controlled temperature. The balance and harmony of this Vintage, as well as its body and structure, are obtained through the selection of grapes, the intensity of maceration and the choice of the moment of the fermentation stop. Opaque, almost black color. Intense aroma of good complexity, with balsamic notes of resins, cedars and tobacco boxes, spiced like pepper, cloves and very mature black fruits. In the mouth presents a good attack, with well integrated acidity, tannins of very good quality, resin aromas and slightly floral with a long finish and great balance. Contains sulfites.

Produced from grapes from Quinta dos Muros on the spring slope of the Pinhão River valley, where the Touriga Nacional exposed to the south finds the ideal conditions to provide all the structure and complexity beyond the black and ripe fruit, and where Tinta Roriz, with Exposure West lends the acidity and aromatic freshness to this Vintage. Thus we obtain, after vinification in winepress and vat, a retinto Port with an attractive violet and exuberant and fresh aroma to fruits like blackberry and plum. Already in the mouth is initially velvety, well balanced, but soon appears all serious character where the tannins show their claw, aided by a beautiful acidity that leave a long and powerful end of mouth! A serious, fresh and balanced port as only the Pinhão Valley knows how to produce! Contains sulfites.
