Over the years, Generous Horácio Simões wines have been carefully transferred, tasted and analyzed and batch based on the teachings left by previous generations. This Moscatel Roxo is the result of intense work distributed between the vineyard and the winery. The vineyard was accompanied and spoiled all the time so that the yields did not exceed 2500 liters / ha and the grapes arrived at the winery in the sanitary state and ideal maturation. In the Adega winemaking was idealized "own" for this product, different from what was customary in other companies in the region. It consists of an intense selection of bunches followed by a pre-fermentative maceration for 5 days, after which the fermentation is allowed to start very slowly homogeneously throughout the vat reaching 3/4 of the fermentation in 3 days, benefiting this wine with the best wine spirits available in the market selected by the technicians of the company, followed by a post-fermentative maceration of 5 long months. The final stage is made in barrels of 225 liters of French Oak (used 2 to 3 Wines), where it is to concentrate. For this wine were selected the best barrels. Moscatel Favaios 10 Anos
The Favaios 10 Anos is a lot wine in which only the best Moscatel harvests are used for its constitution.
