The Quinta Vale Maria’s Red Tints have a great depth of color, violet and dark red with a rich concentration of ripe red fruits, black cherry and plum, followed by the elegance of the traditional raspberry touch of the Vale D wines. Maria. The aging in French oak barrels concentrates the original well-ripened tannins and softens its power, giving rise to a very elegant wine, with great balance and subtlety, ending long and fruity. Made from a “Vinha de Forcado” planted in 1932, located in Amarante, a viticulture system that grows through the trees and reaches almost 7 meters in height. The harvest is done with ladders.
After manual harvesting, with the help of ladders, and transport to the cellar in small boxes (18kg-20kg), the bunches were destemmed, bag by bag, to a small mill, trodden on foot and then fermented in an amphora with
indigenous yeasts. This was followed by light pressing and aging with the total lees in used barrels.
Amphora Internship: 30 days with the films
Barrel Stage: 9 months used barrel aging
Bottling: July 2021 (not filtered or stabilized). Yellowish wine, with an intense aroma, with a touch of straw and critin. Vibrant wine in the mouth, with excellent acidity, the fruit on the nose goes very well in the mouth. Finishes long and persistent with mineral nuances. Contains sulfites.
Ribeiro Santo Vinha da Neve Red

Ribeiro Santo Vinha da Neve Red presents a complex aroma, with notes of dark fruits and aromas of forest flowers, mineral and spicy. In the mouth it is textured, with noble tannins in gifts, powerful and with a well integrated acidity and a long end. The harvest took place in the third week of September. The grapes were harvested manually, for small boxes of 18 kg, according to a careful selection of the best grapes in the vineyard, followed by a second choice at the entrance of the winery. The grapes were completely destemmed for a small granite mill, where they macerated two days at low temperature, before beginning the alcoholic fermentation, with indigenous yeasts, under controlled temperature. The alcoholic fermentation lasted about 3 weeks, with slight homogenization by walking. Once the fermentation was finished, it was decanted into new French oak barrels where it remained for 12 months. After the bottling and before leaving to the market, it staged a minimum of 6 months in fresh basement.
