The Quinta Vale Maria’s Red Tints have a great depth of color, violet and dark red with a rich concentration of ripe red fruits, black cherry and plum, followed by the elegance of the traditional raspberry touch of the Vale D wines. Maria. The aging in French oak barrels concentrates the original well-ripened tannins and softens its power, giving rise to a very elegant wine, with great balance and subtlety, ending long and fruity. Contains Sulfites.

The grapes were harvested manually, transported in 35 kg boxes and selected on a sorting table. Destemming without crushing followed by pressing. Decantation after 24 hours, and fermentation in stainless steel between 14-16ºC. Stage on lees for 6 months. Open ruby-pink color. Intense nose, notes of crushed fresh strawberry, some vegetable. Fresh, crunchy attack, present acidity, with excellent salinity. Great persistence.

Vinhas da Teixuga White is a blended wine obtained with several varieties, from grapes from the 2016, 2017 and 2018 harvests. A challenge that was posed to the winemaking team and which was largely overcome. Harmonizing wines from three different years and ensuring that the whole was greater than the sum of its parts required careful selection of the barrels, so that the result met what was intended. It was possible to obtain a wine with a golden tone, with expressive aromas of apricot and soft smoked notes of great complexity. Fresh and elegant, it has a persistent aftertaste. Contains sulfites.

The white grapes that make up this wine come from schist soil vineyards planted at an average altitude of 350 meters, with northeast exposure, between Freixo de Espada à Cinta and Barca d'Alva. Hand picking vintage. The grapes are slowly pressed, followed by fermentation at a temperature of 16ºC in French oak barrels with battonage. Aging for 6 months in French oak barrels and stainless steel vats with Battonage. Strong traces of minerality and citrus, with a light touch of wood caused by aging in French oak barrels. Contains sulfites.
