Listrão dos Profetas Vinho da Corda White

Listrão dos Profetas Vinho da Corda White is a wine that revives the ancient tradition of "cord wine" on the island of Porto Santo. This historical method, which exploits the full maturation of coastal grapes, gives life to a wine with a golden yellow color, with intense aromas reminiscent of Madeira and Jerez wine, enriched by ferric and iodized notes.
Originating from low-growing vineyards over 80 years old, this unique wine ferments and matures in old barrels for 18 months, achieving exceptional concentration and persistence on the palate. It is the maximum expression of Porto Santo's unique terroir, offering a rich and memorable tasting experience.
Ideal for intense dishes such as octopus stew or stew, Listrão dos Profetas Vinho da Corda White should be served at an optimal temperature to fully enjoy its complexity and richness. A true tribute to the traditional winemaking of Porto Santo.
Horta Osório Achado Red
45,00 €
After manual harvesting, the grapes were transported in boxes of 18 kg capacity so as not to harm the integrity of the bunch. Once in the cellar, the boxes were unloaded onto a sorting mat for the first sorting of the grapes. This was followed by destemming, choosing berry by berry and crushing them, which were transported by gravity to stainless steel fermentation tanks. After 48 hours of pre-fermentation maceration at low temperatures, alcoholic fermentation took place for 10 days where, depending on the variety and the plot, a protocol of pumping over and deletions was carried out. After malolactic fermentation, the different components aged in 225L oak barrels for 18 months. After bottling, the wine aged for another 12 months in the bottle. It is a ruby colored wine with deep intensity. In the aroma, it is very complex, between notes of wild fruit, “sous-bois”, black fruit and balsamic freshness. In the mouth, it presents very fine and polished tannins that provide structure and finesse at the same time.
Casa da Passarella O Fugitivo Pinot Noir Red
24,85 €
Traditional maceration in a mill with partial stalks. Aged for 12 months in used barrels. Open in color, aromas of red fruit. Elegant, delicate mouthfeel, with great complexity. Used at Passarella for more than a century, the Pinot Noir grape variety is far from being new. It served as the basis for Dr. Mário Pato's famous sparkling trials in the 1930s, and later it was the variety that served as a "culture medium" for indigenous yeasts, given their precocity of maturation, which implies irreproachable health.Contains sulfites.
