Vineyards installed on red soils derived from brown or crystalline limestone, with patches of schist, benefiting from a Mediterranean climate with high temperature ranges and hot, dry summers. After the necessary early interventions during the growing season, the grapes were harvested manually and transported to the winery in small boxes. Once malolactic fermentation was completed, the wine was partially aged for 12 months in 2nd and 3rd year French and American oak barrels. After bottling, it rested in bottles for 2 months in our cellar. To preserve all its qualities, this wine has not been stabilized and can naturally deposit. Clear wine, violet red, aromas of cherry, blackberry, spices and floral notes. Structured, balanced and voluminous, with a full body and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.
Munda Jaen Red
Fermentation in stainless steel barrels at controlled temperature. Local varieties provide high quality grapes for dense, dark and storable wines. In the mouth it is good, but it gains body and is reminiscent of gooseberry. The body is structured, not overly powerful, constant and pleasant. Contains Sulfites.

On the palate level, we find a harmonious profile, in which the freshness given by the acidity characteristic of the year, highlights the fruity flavors, enhancing the notes of spices and aromatic herbs. The history of the wines of the Casas do Côro begins with the purchase of old vineyards with more than 80 years in Marialva and evolves it by planting 9 hectares of the best white grape varieties. Marialva is a fantastic terroir at 600 meters altitude between Beira Interior and the Douro. With a common origin in the Beira interior, they share a passion for the land where they were born, for their traditions, smells and aromas, and continue to believe and bet heavily on a territory they consider unique. Casas de Côro Red Wine Reserve has a red color with lots of personality and character, fresh but vibrant and still very young and a bit wild. Expressive, almost "violent" with strong aromas of olive, cherry and grove, super sexy tannins, good acidity and very long end of the mouth. Contains Sulfites.
