Maria Izabel Vinhas Velhas Red
The harvested grapes were selected from the vineyard and then introduced into the vats with 40% destemmed and 60% whole bunches, allowing the extraction of color and aroma compounds more smoothly during 2 weeks of alcoholic fermentation entirely in stainless steel vats, having completed the malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. After 12 months in a French Oak Balseiro preceded by a stage of more than 40 years of Cognac. Deep ruby colored wine, intense aroma, fresh super complex, somewhat closed, notes of red fruit, light jam, fine spice. Incredible cut in the mouth, polished, salty, vibrant. Contains sulfites.
Maria Izabel Red
The harvested grapes rested for 24 hours in a refrigerated container at 8º C in order to protect the integrity of the bunches. Followed by selection on a mat of choice, 30% were introduced into the vat with crushing and 70% in whole bunches, which allowed the extraction of color and aroma compounds more smoothly during 3 weeks of alcoholic fermentation totally in stainless steel vats, having completed the malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. It was then aged for 75% in used 4-year-old barrels of 400L and 225L of French oak, where it remained for 12 months, with the remaining part of the batch aged in stainless steel vats. of wild fruits, in a typical Douro region with a fine cut, slightly spicy and fresh. In the mouth it is seductive, with rusticity conferred by the stems of the grapes, combined with a good minerality. Long, thin and vibrant profile. Contains sulfites.

This wine is produced exclusively from Touriga Nacional grapes, an identity red variety of the Dão region. Grapes harvested manually, transported in 20 kg boxes to the winery located on the farm, with a very short transport time. Total destemming and fermentation in stainless steel vats at around 22ºC. Aging for 24 months in used French oak barrels, followed by aging in stainless steel for 12 months and 6 months in bottle. Touriga Nacional reveals all its finesse and elegance in this wine, with a discreet barrel involving notes of wild fruit, floral notes and delicate citrus. The taste is light and sophisticated, fruity and very fresh, thanks to the good acid balance. A classic Dão, with polished tannins and great freshness, full of character and a sense of origin. The grapes were harvested manually into 25Kg boxes and immediately transported to the cellar where they were stored in the cold chamber for 24 hours. This was followed by grape selection and pneumatic pressing and decanting. The alcoholic fermentation started in a stainless steel tank with selected yeasts. 70% of the must was transferred to 500L barrels and the wine was kept in contact with the fine lees with periodic battonage. Aging for 8 months in barrels with battonage. Complex nose where the tropical fruit from the Roupeiro stands out, combined with notes of grapefruit and the freshness of the Arinto lime peel. The palate is dominated by creaminess and unctuousness. Long and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.
