Pacheca Grande Reserva Touriga Francesa Red
23,22 €
After careful selection for their best condition, the grapes were harvested to 25 kg chests and sent to the winery where they were totally destemmed. Fermentation took place during 9 days in traditional 7-ton granite stone tanks with stepping and soft reassembly for leaching by blanket and extraction of phenolic and aromatic compounds. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, the wine was transferred to new French oak barrels where malolactic fermentation took place and aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. Rich and structured wine with notes of black fruit but, at the same time, very fresh. Contains sulfites.

Carefully harvested in 12 kg boxes, the grapes are cooled to preserve their aromatic authenticity. After total stemming and delicate pressing, it ferments and matures in 500L French oak barrels for 9 months, with an initial bâtonnage that highlights smoothness and structure. A subsequent 9-month bottle aging ensures perfect harmony.
On the nose, it presents complexity with notes of citrus fruit, dried fruits, minerality and spices, accompanied by a touch of vanilla. In the mouth, it is dominated by flavors of pear and dried fruits with a creamy texture, culminating in a long and refreshing finish. Ideal for seafood, risottos and mild cheeses, served at 10-12ºC, Firmado Branco is a sublime choice.
