Prolonged tanning, stage in new French oak barrels, and natural clarification helped by the cutting cold of the Serra da Estrela. It is a red atypical dog as it is much more loaded with color than normal thanks to a year of harvest especially of features. It begins to be discreet and enigmatic, creating strong expectations for lovers. Gradually open, transfiguring in surprisingly and revealing black fruit notes in perfect equilibrium with wood. Shows the breed of the caste, leaving a nice travoid on the palate that invites you to drink. It is a wine for the table, becoming challenging for the lovers of this large Portuguese caste. An amazing wine. Black White because it is made with red grapes ( Baga and Touriga Nacional) and white (Bical), here in an association as unexpected as it is happy, interesting, along with floral and fruity nuances of good quality. Stiff profile in the mouth, with solidtannins, well structured, a very personalized, vigorous wine with refreshing acidity that prolongs the end. It is ideal to accompany matured cheeses and delicate cooking delicacies of Mediterranean, Chinese, Indian and African cuisine.
Ready to drink right now, it will evolve well in the bootle for 3 to 5 years after the date of harvest. Contains Sulfites.
Quinta da Pellada Dente D`Ouro Red

"With grapes buying small parcels I make 1/2 barrels of wine and one of these wines is called the Golden Tooth, because the woman who sold me has a golden tooth." Quinta da Pellada Dente D'Ouro spent 16 months in used French oak barrels. The wine is composed of several native grape varieties, mainly Jaen and Baga. The grapes come from a very old vineyard with vineyards, which are between 80 and 100 years old. It is very important for Alvaro Castro to show that it is indeed possible to revive the tradition of blends of native fields and vines in his Dao area. The wine shines with ruby red with violet nuances. It shows a beautiful fresh and mineral scent, thin and incredibly complex, with notes of blackberry and plum. On the palate, a medium concentration, blueberry aromas, notes of spices and some earthy notes, plus unlikely silky tannins, absolutely attractive. A light red wine, elegant and very fresh, juicy, with mineral notes and berries, at a long, deep and very thin finish. Wonderfully multi-layered and with elegant precision. Simply sublime! Contains Sulfites.
