Vinha do Professor Grande Reserva Red
224,49 €
Vinha do Professor Grande Reserva Red is a gem from the old vineyards of Trás-os-Montes, a region famous for its ancestral vines, witnesses of hard work and resilience against natural and human adversities. This wine is not just a tribute to the land; It is also a celebration of the wisdom and dedication of generations, like that of the professor who, for decades, took care of these vineyards, bequeathing us a viticultural heritage of inestimable value. With vines that produce few bunches, each requiring individual attention, this wine is the result of a concentrated effort that translates into exceptional quality.
Composed of a harmonious blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Amarela and Alicante Bouchet, Vinha do Professor reveals itself to be a surprisingly balanced wine, standing out for its freshness, acidity and solid structure. This Grande Reserva defies expectations with an intriguing and long aftertaste, marked by intense notes of pepper. This unique character invites you to explore it in pairing with a variety of dishes, from cheeses and sausages to meat and cod, proving to be a versatile wine with great potential for evolution. Vinha do Professor Grande Reserva Tinto is, without a doubt, a memorable wine experience that remains in the memory, even after the tasting.
Quinta de Arcossó Reserva Red
12,50 €
Quinta de Arcossó Reserva Red is a notable example, the result of the distinct terroir of Arcossó, Vidago, in the Ribeira de Oura sub-region. Originating from an exclusive plot of 10.5 hectares, part of a 12-hectare vineyard planted in 2003, this wine reflects the excellence of viticulture in the region. Located on a slope to the south, at an altitude of 375 meters and with a slope of 20%, the granite soil gives the wine unique characteristics. Traditional winemaking in a press, with foot treading, followed by a 12-month aging period in French oak barrels, both new and used, culminates in a period of maturation in the cellar for 6 months after bottling.
This careful elaboration results in a wine of intense color and aroma, where floral and ripe fruit notes stand out, in perfect harmony with the elegance of the wood. On the palate, Quinta de Arcossó Reserva Red reveals a robust structure, mature flavors and exceptional freshness, accompanied by vigorous tannins that promise a long, full-flavored finish. This wine is not just a drink, it is an enriching experience, ideal for the most special moments, reflecting the passion and tradition of Portuguese viticulture.
