Fully produced with the Merlot grape variety, in clay-limestone soils, the climatic conditions of the Serra da Arrábida area allow the grapes of this variety to be obtained with a strong local personality. A classic, slow and controlled fermentation was carried out followed by an end of fermentation in new barrels of French “Allier” oak that contributed to the excellent integration of the aromas and flavors of the grape and the wood. The subsequent prolonged maturation in the same barrels guaranteed a complexity of complementary palate. In the mouth it is full, it has ripe fruit combined with fine but elegant but firm tannins that give it a complex and very persistent structure. This wine has a great aging potential in the bottle.18 months in French oak barrels. Intense red color and notes of red fruit such as cherry and plum combined with nuances of chocolate, mocha and spices. Contains Sulfites.
