Manual harvest and aging for 12 months in a new 500 liter French oak barrel. With an almost indescribable aromatic complexity, it is a great white that shows itself firm, with a silky texture and very fine linearity. With a high concentration, it is a magnificent wine with a vibrant acidity that only Dão can offer, ending long, persistent and very precise. Contains sulfites.
Vinha de Santa Maria Reserva Red
Manual harvest. Total destemming. 24h maceration at low temperature before starting alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Smooth reassembly for extracting color and aromas. Transfer to used 225L French oak barrels for 12 months. Ruby color of medium concentration. Aroma of black fruit and some spices, such as black pepper. A fresh and elegant wine, with an expressive structure and finish and good persistence. Balance between the influence of the barrel and acidity. It combines perfectly with roasted meat, dishes with dried fruits, mushrooms and soft cheeses.
Sandeman Vintage 2018 Ruby
Deep, almost opaque color. Aroma of excellent complexity, with notes of spices, adding curry, pepper, ginger, red fruits and black fruits. The wine has a light touch of cocoa with a slightly stony finish, the result of good maturation. In the mouth it is intense and complex with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins with a very long and highly concentrated finish. Contains sulfites.
Rola Touriga Nacional Red
Intense ruby red color, concentrated, beautiful halo of more open hue, limpid appearance. On the nose it presents aromas of ripe red and black fruits, then adding a fresh and fragrant floral, well-integrated notes of barrel aging, fresh balsamic, cigar box and a light touch of mint from the stream at the end. Mouth full of strength, vigorous, with acidity at the balance point, slightly drying the palate, revealing structure and volume, present tannin, without imposing itself on the fresh and juicy fruit, with amplitude, showing once again the good integration of the notes coming from the barrel aging and long aftertaste. It is aged in Portuguese and Brown oak casks for a period of 24 months. The grapes are trampled on foot in the Quinta's mills to obtain the must. 100% of this wine is fermented in French oak barrels for 20 days at temperatures between 16 and 18 degrees centigrade. It did not undergo malolactic fermentation and selected yeasts are used. 100% of this wine is fermented in French oak barrels, where 25% are new and 75% used. Batonnage is carried out for three months, once a week. This wine is a blend that presents a light golden color. The aroma is intense, fresh, with mineral notes and different fruity and floral notes. In the mouth it is full and very fresh due to its acid balance. It has a long aftertaste with slight notes of wood. Excellent wine for grilled fish and white meats. Contains Sulfites.
