Taboadella Grande Villae White is a Dão white wine that expresses the identity of the Encruzado grape with remarkable precision and authenticity. It reflects the character of the Taboadella terroir without filters, showing aromatic complexity, firmness, a silky texture and very fine linearity.

Made from 100% Encruzado grapes grown on granite soils in the Castendo sub-region, this white wine stands out for its vibrant freshness and marked granitic minerality. Ageing combines cement and new 500-litre French oak barrels for 10 months, resulting in a deep, elegant and highly precise profile.

Winemaking & Aging

The grapes were harvested by hand and vinified with 100% whole bunches. Around 20% of the wine fermented and aged in cement, while the remaining 80% aged for 10 months in new 500-litre French oak barrels. This approach gives the wine structure, tension and a fine balance between texture and freshness.
