Produced on the same slope (North exposure) as Dust, has with this much in common. But as it is mostly produced from younger vines it has a lighter and more relaxed character. With this Powder of Dust we tried to make a personalized wine, with an expressive aroma and with a depth and freshness that characterize our wines. Quinta de la Rosa 10 Anos Tawny

Every year a small number of our best ports - of LBV quality and above - are stored in oak barrels. With an average age of 10 years, it is from the mixture of these stocks that the Quinta de la Rosa Tawny 10 Years (or Tonel 12) is born. At Quinta de La Rosa, Port wines are stored and bottled in the Douro and not in Vila Nova de Gaia, as is the case in most Houses, allowing a singular trait from picking the grape to the bottle wine. It is a rich and elegant mix with wonderful aromas that exude from the Douro. The palate is complex; reveals aromas of nuts, figs, honey and almonds and a nice and pleasant length. The wines of the Port of Quinta de la Rosa follow the traditional style: fermented with foot steps in granite wineries and stagiados in old barrels and barrels (oak barrels of 550 liters) of old wood. Quinta do Vallado Superior Red

Each portion was vinified separately in stainless steel vats, with controlled temperature and scheduled reassembly. This wine aged for 16 months in used French oak barrels. A surprising wine, bright in color, with great aromatic intensity. Exuberant and mysterious, it combines the floral aromas typical of the Touriga Nacional with traces of exotic fruit. Tannins of great quality, intense but silky. It produces an end of bocafresco and citric, associated with the presence of wild fruits. Contains Sulfites.

Quinta do Vallado Magnum Red

About 80% of the grapes come from vines planted in the 1990s and 20% from old vines aged between 60 and 100 years. The grapes were vinified in stainless steel vats of 5 and 10 tons of capacity, fully destemmed. The must fermented for about a week at 23º - 25º C, with programmed automatic pumping over. About 90% of the wine was aged for 8 months in stainless steel vats and the remainder in 3rd and 4th year French oak barrels of 225 lt. Concentrated aroma, highlighting the ripe red fruits, rock rose and violet. Good structure, fleshy with round tannins. Persistent ending. Contains sulfites.

Quinta do Vallado Reserva Field Blend Magnum Red

Some of the grapes were subjected to the traditional process of milling, while the rest were vinified in five-ton stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature and robotic reassembly. After the malolactic fermentation, all the wines were transferred to French Allier oak barrels where they remained for 18 months. 60% staged in new barrels, 40% in used barrels. Quinta do Vallado Reserva Field Blend has a very concentrated aroma, with balsamic notes of oak, fig and blackberry, tobacco. Flavor very full-bodied, fleshy with ripe and round tannins. The finish is elegant, mineral, very persistent and complex. Contains Sulfites.

Quinta do Vallado Touriga Nacional Magnum Red

The grapes were vinified in 5 and 10 ton stainless steel vats with controlled temperature and programmed pumping over. After malolactic fermentation, all wines were transferred to 225 L French oak barrels where they remain for about 16 months. 45% new barrels and 55% used barrels. Very concentrated, with balsamic notes of oak wood, very ripe red fruits and violet. Very balanced flavor, high concentration of red fruit, with ripe and round tannins and a long and fresh finish. Contains sulfites.

Quinta do Vallado Sousão Red

Vinified in mills with traditional walking foot for 6 days. Malolactic fermentation made in French oak barrels of 225 liters where it remained, after passing to clean, another 18 months. 40% new barrels and 60% barrels of 2nd year. Quinta do Vallado Sousão presents a very concentrated aroma, with balsamic notes of oak wood, black fruits, tobacco and spices. In the mouth it is full-bodied, fleshy with excellent acidity. Mineral finish, fresh and long flavored with black fruits. Contains Sulfites.

Quinta do Vallado 40 Anos Tawny

Amber color with orange slivers, of medium acidity. Very intense and the true mastery in the combination of notes of nuts and honey.
