The Soalheiro Mineral Rose can be enjoyed as an excellent and relaxed aperitif, very adapted to the current tendency to consume wine by the glass, but also proves perfect to harmonize with lighter dishes such as salads, fish or seafood. One of the great concerns of the Soalheiro is to produce "wines to drink with pleasure", believing in the quality and tendency to appreciate wines with a more moderate alcohol. This Soalheiro Mineral Rose manages to have persistence due to Pinot Noir and elegance due to Alvarinho with moderate alcohol of 12%. To Alvarinho produced in high altitude vineyards where the caste has a more intense, fresh and mineral dimension, the Soalheiro has joined the Pinot Noir variety, also produced in the region and which presents a more aromatic and elegant dimension. In this way, a wine emerges at the same time aromatic and fresh, with a mineral end of mouth, and at the same time very greedy. Contains Sulfites.

Soalheiro Primeiras Vinhas White

The Alvarinho grapes, produced according to the concepts of organic farming where we protect the wine-growing ecosystem, promoting biodiversity and environmental sustainability, are harvested manually in the older vineyards with more than 40 years of existence in Quinta de Soalheiro, the First Vineyards. Currently, we still have a selection of Alvarinho grapes planted in Pé-franco. The grapes, exclusively from the Alvarinho variety, are harvested manually in small capacity boxes and transported to the winery in a short time. After pressing, the decanted w decants for 48 hours, followed by fermentation at controlled temperature. The fermentation takes place essentially in stainless steel (about 15% of the total volume is fermented in used oak barrels), with maintenance of the fine lees until the beginning of May, the month in which the bottling takes place. In this harvest we also integrate into the Alvarinho lot with a large oak kite stage. Citrine yellow color, elegant and full aroma that grows in the glass, becoming more and more persistent. The flavor is full-bodied, fresh and with great gustatory complexity. Contains Sulfites.

Soalheiro 9% Magnum White

An intense, elegant wine with volume. Beginning at the end of August, this harvest was the earliest ever harvested in Soalheiro, but it demonstrated an exceptional balance between the fruit and the acidity of the Alvarinhos of the unique terroir of Monção and Melgaço. Alvarinho grapes without late harvest were harvested in small capacity boxes and transported to the winery in a short period of time. The must obtained by pressing the whole grapes was decanted and fermented at low temperature. The fermentation took place in stainless steel until reaching the balance of sweetness and acidity intended and that dictated the final alcohol of this Soalheiro - 9%. Citrus and tropical notes of the Alvarinho variety with a balance of unusual acidity and sweetness. Contains Sulfites.

Quinta de Santiago, built in 1899 in Monção, is still owned by its descendants. The Quinta has 9 hectares of which 6 planted with vines aged between 3 to 9 years, exclusively in clay soils. Clean, pale greenish yellow with medium intensity nose, lime, peach, roses, resin and wet stone. In the mouth it is dry, drying tannin, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium intensity, lime, peach, earthy, wet stone and long finish. This wine was obtained in a peculiar way, 50% was naturally fermented and aged in Amphora in contact with the films. Made from a “Vinha de Forcado” planted in 1932, located in Amarante, a viticulture system that grows through the trees and reaches almost 7 meters in height. The harvest is done with ladders. After manual harvesting, with the help of ladders, and transport to the cellar in small boxes (18kg-20kg), the bunches were destemmed, bag by bag, to a small mill, trodden on foot and then fermented in an amphora with indigenous yeasts. This was followed by light pressing and aging with the total lees in used barrels. Amphora Internship: 30 days with the films Barrel Stage: 9 months used barrel aging Bottling: July 2021 (not filtered or stabilized). Yellowish wine, with an intense aroma, with a touch of straw and critin. Vibrant wine in the mouth, with excellent acidity, the fruit on the nose goes very well in the mouth. Pequenos Rebentos Loureiro Vinhas Velhas White

Made from a vineyard planted in 1989, between Ponte de Lima and Braga, the vines of the Loureiro variety with the lowest production were selected. Wine resulting from spontaneous fermentation, in used barrels from Puligny-Montrachet and consequent maturation of about 7 months, using battonage. It is a wine with a strong varietal character, fresh with a slight floral. This laurel has a well-closed aroma, with light florals, with a greenish color, thin and fine in the mouth, with a long and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.

We chose Monção and Melgaço because we believe it has everything to be a great wine in the world. Vinification took place together with skin maceration + tanning + amphora fermentation. Pequenos Rebentos Atlântico Red

Made from 80-year-old vines located in Barcelos, as well as from Ponte de Lima and Melgaço vineyards, the healthiest and most phenolically mature bunches were selected. Mainly made with Cainho Tinto, Pedral and Alvarelhão, the intention was to create a fresh and elegant red wine, also starting from the color. It is not necessarily a “green red”, but a red made in the Vinho Verde Region. An elegant wine from the light color, delicate with some fresh fruit in the aroma and tense in the mouth, with a long finish. After manual harvesting, and transport to the cellar in small boxes (18kg-20kg), the bunches were destemmed and the grapes were macerated for 24 hours, as soon as spontaneous fermentation started, they were pressed and finished fermenting in used barrels. He also made the malolactic in barrels with total lees. Aged for 8 months in used barrels. It was bottled in June 2021 (not strained, not filtered, not stabilized). Contains sulfites.

Pequenos Rebentos Alvarinho White

Made 100% with the Alvarinho variety, from grapes from selected winemakers from Melgaço and Monção, and the fruit of fermentation in stainless steel vats using battonage. It is a wine with a strong varietal character, rustic and fresh, as well as round and aromatic, with the minerality that is so appreciated in this variety, and whose elegance and particularity can only be found in great world varieties. After manual harvesting, and transport to the cellar in small boxes (18kg-20kg), the bunches were destemmed and the grapes were macerated for 8 hours, preceded by light pressing and decanting for 48 hours. It fermented at controlled temperature (14º-15ºC) for 15 days. Stage 5 months with battonage. This Alvarinho concentrates the vegetable in the skin, the intensity of aromas, the balance and at the same time the delicate side of this variety. Wine with a greenish color, with an intense aroma, with a tropical and light vegetal touch. Wine well balanced in the mouth. Finishes long and persistent. Contains sulfites.

Opção Colheita Tardia White

João Portugal Ramos Alvarinho Bruto White

The grapes were subjected to gentle pressing. After clarification by static decanting, the alcoholic fermentation occurred at about 15ºc, obtaining the base sparkling wine. 15% of the batch was fermented in French oak barrels of 3 and 4 years where it remained on the lees for 8 months. After tartaric stabilization of the base wine, the second bottle fermentation was then run. The bottle stage on the lees of the second fermentation was approximately 20 months. Contains sulfites.
