Áurea's vibrant personality. Harvested in September 2021, the Bastardo grapes fermented in a press, with 30% whole bunches and macerated for 15 days. Manual harvest in 18Kg boxes, careful selection of the best grapes in the vineyard. The grapes were picked only by grandfather Nelson and granddaughter Maria Simões. The grapes were fully destemmed and immediately pressed. This wine aged for 6 months in new French oak barrels. It has a vivid and crystalline yellowish color. The first aroma we have is well integrated barrel notes. In the wine, we have white stone fruits such as apricots and peaches that are reminiscent of the great Dão wines. Citrus fruits that give some nose freshness to the wine. It has a pleasant breadth and a large mouth volume that accompanies the tasting from the beginning to the end. It is a wine that has some bitterness at the end, characteristic of gastronomic wines that go very well with food. It has a long and persistent finish.
