This superior quality sparkling wine comes from Alvarinho grapes harvested on a small plot, located at an altitude of between 300 and 350 meters, aged close to 20 years, protected from north winds and on granite soils. providing the development of small berries, with a thick skin and slow maturation, in order to preserve all the aromatic complexity of the grape. These grapes are harvested earlier so that the total acidity is higher and its probable level is no more than 11.7%, resulting in a fresh, light sparkling wine, with fine and persistent bubbles. The alcoholic fermentation took place in 3rd year French oak barrels, in part, but also in temperature controlled stainless steel vats. It is a clear, pale salmon wine. In the tasting stand out the aromas of raspberry, currant and cherry, and floral notes characteristic of the variety. A fruity, fresh, mineral and dry rosé with an elegant and persistent aftertaste, characteristics that give it a longevity up to a dozen years. Contains Sulfites.

Pequenos Rebentos Atlântico Red

Made from 80-year-old vines located in Barcelos, as well as from Ponte de Lima and Melgaço vineyards, the healthiest and most phenolically mature bunches were selected. Mainly made with Cainho Tinto, Pedral and Alvarelhão, the intention was to create a fresh and elegant red wine, also starting from the color. It is not necessarily a “green red”, but a red made in the Vinho Verde Region. An elegant wine from the light color, delicate with some fresh fruit in the aroma and tense in the mouth, with a long finish. After manual harvesting, and transport to the cellar in small boxes (18kg-20kg), the bunches were destemmed and the grapes were macerated for 24 hours, as soon as spontaneous fermentation started, they were pressed and finished fermenting in used barrels. He also made the malolactic in barrels with total lees. Aged for 8 months in used barrels. It was bottled in June 2021 (not strained, not filtered, not stabilized). Contains sulfites.

Insula Chão de Lava AA Rose

Selective manual harvest in 15kg boxes. About 50% results from direct pressing of the whole bunch and decanting after 24 hours. The remaining 50% comes from sangria from gently crushed grapes and subjected to 3 to 6 hours of maceration at low temperatures. The mixture ferments at controlled temperature in stainless steel vats. With aromas of ripe red fruits and hints of spice. In the mouth it is fresh, saline, mineral, structured and persistent. Contains sulfites.

GIZ Vinhas Velhas Rose

Lightly pressed grapes with whole bunch. The resulting must was fermented in used barrels, followed by regular batonnage until the date of bottling. Tartaric and protein stabilization achieved naturally during an extended 10-month aging in a barrel. 1440 bottles were produced. Aromas of red, floral fruit. Suggestions of vanilla, brioche and spice add aromatic complexity. In the mouth it shows to be an elegant wine, full of minerality and freshness, reflecting well the calcareous soils from which it comes. It is simultaneously a deep, structured and complex wine.
