The harvest took place in the last week of September. The grapes were harvested manually, to small boxes of 18kg. The alcoholic fermentation lasted about 15 days, with gentle maceration for a good extraction of aromas and color. After fermentation, it was transferred to French oak barrels where it remained for 12 months. After bottling the wine remained about 6 months in a fresh cellar before being released to the market. It presents an intense ruby color, aromas of forest fruits and notes of ripe plum, with an excellent structure and a long and expressive finish. Contains Sulfites.

Vinha do Professor Grande Reserva Red is a gem from the old vineyards of Trás-os-Montes, a region famous for its ancestral vines, witnesses of hard work and resilience against natural and human adversities. This wine is not just a tribute to the land; It is also a celebration of the wisdom and dedication of generations, like that of the professor who, for decades, took care of these vineyards, bequeathing us a viticultural heritage of inestimable value. With vines that produce few bunches, each requiring individual attention, this wine is the result of a concentrated effort that translates into exceptional quality.
Composed of a harmonious blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Amarela and Alicante Bouchet, Vinha do Professor reveals itself to be a surprisingly balanced wine, standing out for its freshness, acidity and solid structure. This Grande Reserva defies expectations with an intriguing and long aftertaste, marked by intense notes of pepper. This unique character invites you to explore it in pairing with a variety of dishes, from cheeses and sausages to meat and cod, proving to be a versatile wine with great potential for evolution. Grapes harvested by hand, for boxes of 25 kg, at their ideal point of maturation; intended to have a vigorous maturation, leading to higher aromatic and polyphenolic concentrations. After gentle crushing and total destemming, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel vats and wine presses, thus allowing the quality constituents present in the skins of the very ripe grapes to pass smoothly into the wine. After malolactic fermentation, the wine aged in new and used 400 liter French oak barrels for approximately 12 months. Purple and very deep in color, very complex and distinctive aromas where the fruity and floral character predominates with spicy notes, fresh from mint from very discreet wood and well integrated into the wine. In the mouth it shows fruit, complexity with high level tannins that give it a long finish. This balanced combination of power and elegance certainly contributes to its aging potential, so the wine will benefit from a few years in the bottle. Contains Sulfites.

Luis Pato Vinhas Velhas White

Pale straw color. A nose of orange peels and a rhombus of some tropical hybrid fruit left, something between sapoti, feijoa and melon. It has a really plush viscosity, but through a very clean, persistent acidity line. The moment it finally slides out the tongue, most of the orange has turned tangelo and faded. It is a very rewarding adventure that is never more frightening.
Contains Sulfites.
