Quinta de Arcossó Arinto White

Mr. Amílcar chose to ferment this white wine, an Arinto from Quinta de Arcossó, directly in the Vidago region, 450 meters above sea level in Trás-os-Montes (Ribeira de Oura). He adopted a unique approach: 80% of the fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with 'bâtonnage', while the remaining 20% was fermented in French oak barrels. After this process, this delicious Arinto was aged in bottles for 30 months.
Enhance the flavor of this white wine by decanting it for an hour before serving.
Quinta de Arcossó, located in Trás-os-Montes, is a wine project dedicated to artisanal wine production. Using a minimalist winemaking approach, inspired by ancient techniques dating back to Roman times, the farm produces distinctive wines known for their notable acidity, ripe fruit and robust tannins. These wines, aged over time, are produced in limited quantities due to the artisanal care dedicated to each bottle.

Prolonged tanning, stage in new French oak barrels and natural clarification helped by the cutting cold of the Serra da Estrela. Ruby color loaded with slight reddish loaves. The aroma is attractive and very complex, improving a lot with the time of stay in the glass. Crasto DOC White

The grapes, from previously selected plots, were transported in 22 kg food plastic boxes and subjected to rigorous sorting at the entrance to the cellar. They were subsequently destemmed and pressed. The pressed wort was transferred to a stainless steel vat where it was kept at a temperature of 8ºC for 48 hours until decanting. Then, alcoholic fermentation took place in a stainless steel vat with controlled temperatures of 14º C for a period of 30 days. Aging 3 months in stainless steel vats. Bright citrus colored wine, with expressive aromas of tropical fruits reminiscent of fresh passion fruit, in perfect harmony with soft floral notes. Starts in the mouth tasting in a captivating way, evolving into a balanced wine, of medium volume and structure, very well integrated with excellent sensations of minerality. A seductive wine that finishes fresh and with a pleasant persistence. Contains Sulfites.
TERRENUS Reserva Vinhas Velhas Red

Manual harvesting, fermentation in wineries and oak vats. Prolonged 4-week maceration and malolactic fermentation in barrels. Stage of 20 months in barrels of Allier French Oak and 14 months in bottle. It has a dark garnet color, very intense and complex aroma, black fruit notes, balsamic and spicy aromas of the barrel. Palate with good structure, ripe and smooth tannins, good freshness, long persistence. Contains Sulfites.

Grapes from old vines of the Planalto Mirandês, at more than 600 meters of altitude, with schist soils. Manual harvest in 20Kg boxes. Reception with partial destemming and soft crushing. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel vats, without too much extraction. Aging for 12 months in old Portuguese oak barrels. Open ruby color, translucent. Delicate aroma with fresh red fruits in the first instance, expanding to a slight smoke. Very fresh and light in the mouth with very complicated acidity and tannins, long and mineral finish. Contains sulfites.
