After the selection of the grapes in the vineyards of our associates, the harvest takes place. In the cellar they are unloaded and immediately destemmed and crushed, followed by a light skin maceration in order to extract all the aromatic compounds from the film. Subsequently, the grapes are pressed with oxidation protections from which the tear must is extracted which, after static clarification, starts the fermentation in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures (15/16º) and is then transferred to French oak barrels where the fermentation ends and remains internship for another 6 months. Wine with a crystalline appearance, defined salmon color, fruity aroma with notes of wild red fruits wrapped in floral notes. Intense, fresh and some complexity with a pleasant and persistent aftertaste. Contains sulfites
Vinha Negrosa Red

The grapes were fermented in a used French oak vat (40% whole bunches) with only indigenous yeasts, followed by a post-fermentation maceration for 30 days. The wine aged for 16 months in a used French oak barrel, with 3000 liters, and in used French oak barrels with 225 liters. Ruby color, floral aroma, light bush, strawberry, raspberry, light white pepper, dry leaves, tobacco box and tar. Dry, medium acidity and long finish. Contains sulfites.
Ferradosa Vinhas Velhas White

Degummed grapes, slightly crushed in a pneumatic press, the resulting wort being decanted into 2,500 liters stainless steel vats for 24 hours at 10 ° C and then passed into new and one-year French 225-liter oak barrels where it ferments during 25 days at controlled temperatures between 10 ° C and 14 ° C. After malolactic fermentation the wines were tranferred separately to new barrels (60%) and 4 years (40%) of French oak, where they trained for about 12 months until the final batch. After bottling, a temperature controlled stage of 15ºC is followed for 6 months in order to achieve the appropriate balance for its consumption. To preserve its great quality, it was bottled without treatment by the cold and without glue so that a slight deposit can form in the bottle. The elegance and balance of the Herdade do Peso Essência 2014 make this wine the perfect accompaniment to the tasty meat dishes of the rich Alentejo gastronomy.

Soalheiro Granit Magnum White

The Soalheiro Granit reveals the more mineral side of the Alvarinho variety. It is a Alvarinho that leaves a specific selection of vineyards planted above 200 meters of altitude, revealing the minerality that relates the soil of granite origin of the terroir of Monção and Melgaço and the Alvarinho variety, improved with the batonage and the stage in the fine lees . The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a higher temperature than usual in white wines, showing an elegant and more mineral aroma with a dry and persistent finish. The Alvarinho grapes used in the Soalheiro Soalheiro come from small-sized vineyards implanted in soil of granite origin above 200 meters altitude and located in the private microclimate of the Monção and Melgaço sub-region, the northernmost region of Portugal. The grapes, exclusively from the Alvarinho variety, are harvested manually in small capacity boxes and transported to the winery in a short time. After pressing, the decanted w decants for 48 hours, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a higher temperature than usual, using pre-selected yeasts for this purpose. The bottling takes place after the batonage and the stage in the fine lees. Citrine yellow color, aroma with the profile restrained and elegant with mineral notes and dry finish.
