Quinta da Rede Grande Reserva Red

Discover the Quinta da Rede Grande Reserva Red, an outstanding expression of wines from the Douro, specifically the Lower Corgo sub-region. This wine is the result of a meticulous winemaking process that includes total de-stemming, prolonged pelicular maceration and softening, and alcoholic fermentation in mechanized lagars at 26°C.

After fermentation, the wine matures for 12 months in new French oak barrels, developing an intense garnet color with purple nuances. In the nose, it exhibits a rich aromatic complexity with notes of wild berries, heather, and spices, complemented by a smoky touch that makes it extremely captivating.

In the palate, the Grande Reserva presents a deep and distinct wine, full-bodied, with rounded and velvety tannins and an excellent acidity balance that provides freshness, reflecting the entire character of the Lower Corgo. Suitable for pairing with meat stews, grilled beef, roasted duck, and cured cheeses, it should be served at 18°C.
