With grapes from the Douro Superior, namely from a 60-year-old vineyard, from the selection of red grapes from native varieties. A wine as it used to be, with structure, body and freshness.
After manual harvesting, and transport to the cellar in small boxes (18kg-20kg), the grapes are trodden by foot in a small press. Fermentation started spontaneously and then it was pressed.
It fermented the rest of the time in used 225L barrels. Aging: 6 months used barrels. This wine has a red fruit aroma like strawberries. Fresh, light and appetizing wine. Contains sulfites.

Grapes from 21-year-old vines, hand-picked into 20 kg boxes. The must was obtained by the open spout method with direct pressing of whole grapes, and later decanted at low temperature for a period of 24 hours. Fermented in stainless steel vats at a temperature of 15ºC for a period of 18 days. It aged naturally in contact with fine lees for 5 months in stainless steel vats. Minimal intervention. Pale pink color that reveals a delicate rosé. It is complex and intense on the nose with notes of red fruits, floral touches and evident minerality. In the mouth it has a good volume and excellent freshness.

Pêra Manca White

Pêra-Manca White produced from a selection of the varieties Antão Vaz and Arinto planted in the vineyards of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation. When the grapes reach the ideal stage of maturation, they are harvested and transported to the winery, where the technological process begins: total destemming and slight crushing, pressing, cooling and clarification of the must. One part of the batch is fermented in a stainless steel tank, fermented elsewhere in French oak barrels, at a controlled temperature of 16ºC. After the fermentation, a stage is followed, on fine lees with periodic batonnage, during 12 months. Finally, filtration, blending, tartaric and protein stabilization, final filtration and bottling are carried out, followed by a final stage of 6 months in the bottle. Contains Sulfites.

These wines associate their quality with the name of the Carthusian monks who, since 1598, lead a solitary prayer life in the Monastery of Santa Maria Scala Coeli. Produced from the carefully selected vine varieties, Alicante Bouschet eTincadeira, planted in the older vineyards of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation. When the grapes reach the ideal stage of maturation, they are harvested and transported to the winery, where the technological process begins with total destemming and slight crushing. The grapes are then fermented separately in stainless steel vats and French oak vats, at a temperature of 27 ° C, followed by 15 day maceration. This wine aged for 15 months in new French oak barrels and 12 months in the bottle. Contains Sulfites.
