Made from a “Vinha de Forcado” planted in 1932, located in Amarante, a viticulture system that grows through the trees and reaches almost 7 meters in height. The harvest is done with ladders. After manual harvesting, with the help of ladders, and transport to the cellar in small boxes (18kg-20kg), the bunches were destemmed, bag by bag, to a small mill, trodden on foot and then fermented in an amphora with indigenous yeasts. This was followed by light pressing and aging with the total lees in used barrels. Amphora Internship: 30 days with the films Barrel Stage: 9 months used barrel aging Bottling: July 2021 (not filtered or stabilized). Yellowish wine, with an intense aroma, with a touch of straw and critin. Vibrant wine in the mouth, with excellent acidity, the fruit on the nose goes very well in the mouth. Finishes long and persistent with mineral nuances. Contains sulfites.

Pequenos Rebentos Loureiro Vinhas Velhas White

Made from a vineyard planted in 1989, between Ponte de Lima and Braga, the vines of the Loureiro variety with the lowest production were selected. Wine resulting from spontaneous fermentation, in used barrels from Puligny-Montrachet and consequent maturation of about 7 months, using battonage. It is a wine with a strong varietal character, fresh with a slight floral. This laurel has a well-closed aroma, with light florals, with a greenish color, thin and fine in the mouth, with a long and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.

Pequenos Rebentos O Caminho White

Made from grapes from selected winemakers from Melgaço and Monção, this wine is the result of several years of studies of grape varieties, soils, winemaking processes and the special people we came to know. We chose Monção and Melgaço because we believe it has everything to be a great wine in the world. Vinification took place together with skin maceration + tanning + amphora fermentation. Aged 10 months in used barrels. Contains sulfites.

Pequenos Rebentos Atlântico Red

Made from 80-year-old vines located in Barcelos, as well as from Ponte de Lima and Melgaço vineyards, the healthiest and most phenolically mature bunches were selected. Mainly made with Cainho Tinto, Pedral and Alvarelhão, the intention was to create a fresh and elegant red wine, also starting from the color. It is not necessarily a “green red”, but a red made in the Vinho Verde Region. An elegant wine from the light color, delicate with some fresh fruit in the aroma and tense in the mouth, with a long finish. After manual harvesting, and transport to the cellar in small boxes (18kg-20kg), the bunches were destemmed and the grapes were macerated for 24 hours, as soon as spontaneous fermentation started, they were pressed and finished fermenting in used barrels. He also made the malolactic in barrels with total lees. Aged for 8 months in used barrels. It was bottled in June 2021 (not strained, not filtered, not stabilized). Contains sulfites.

Permitido Rabigato White

With grapes from the Douro Superior, very close to the limit of the demarcated region, namely Vinhas Velhas based on Rabigato, the strength of freshness was combined in a very young wine with great aging capacity. Highlight for the altitude of these vineyards, close to 650m, and the granitic soil, which originate wines with excellent storage capacity. After manual harvesting, and transport to the cellar in small boxes (18kg-20kg), the bunches were destemmed and the grapes underwent a short maceration and fermentation at low temperature in stainless steel vats. Aging for 8 months in stainless steel on fine lees. Aging in bottle for 2 months. This wine presents a white fruit on the nose with great intensity, fresh notes and very aromatic. A well-balanced wine in the mouth with a very long, persistent body and endless freshness. Contains sulfites.

Pequenos Rebentos Alvarinho White

Made 100% with the Alvarinho variety, from grapes from selected winemakers from Melgaço and Monção, and the fruit of fermentation in stainless steel vats using battonage. It is a wine with a strong varietal character, rustic and fresh, as well as round and aromatic, with the minerality that is so appreciated in this variety, and whose elegance and particularity can only be found in great world varieties. After manual harvesting, and transport to the cellar in small boxes (18kg-20kg), the bunches were destemmed and the grapes were macerated for 8 hours, preceded by light pressing and decanting for 48 hours. It fermented at controlled temperature (14º-15ºC) for 15 days. Stage 5 months with battonage. This Alvarinho concentrates the vegetable in the skin, the intensity of aromas, the balance and at the same time the delicate side of this variety. Wine with a greenish color, with an intense aroma, with a tropical and light vegetal touch. Wine well balanced in the mouth. Finishes long and persistent. Contains sulfites.

Proibido Grande Reserva Red

The Proibido wine originates in Vinhas Velhas between 40 and 80 years of age, coming from Vila Nova de Foz Côa. Small plots facing north or east between 250m and 500m altitude. All work is practically done by hand, without the use of herbicides or pesticides. When necessary, we till the land with the help of a work horse. We therefore respect what the vineyard gives us, and we try to make the transformation of the grapes into wine as natural as possible. gentle maceration and low temperature fermentation. Aging 15 months in used barrels. This wine presents a well-marked black fruit on the nose with great intensity, toasted notes and spices. A well-balanced wine in the mouth, with a very long, persistent body and well-file tannins. Contains sulfites.

Proibido à capela Red

After manual harvesting and transport to the cellar in small boxes (18kg-20kg), the bunches were hand-de-stemmed and the grapes trodden by foot in a small press. Fermentation started spontaneously and lasted approximately 20 days. It was transferred to a pitcher without the use of electricity. This wine has a red fruit aroma. Fresh, light and disconcerting wine. Harmonization and longevity: It is a challenge to gastronomy. It can be consumed immediately or in the next 5 to 10 years, as long as it is stored lying down in a cool, dry place, protected from light and without temperature fluctuations. Contains sulfites.
