Maria Izabel Vinhas Velhas White

Fermentation process from indigenous yeasts, brings more complexity and character to wines. Long maturation on total lees (12 months). Malolactic partials make up the Burgundian-inspired route. Concise, elegant, frank, expressive. Fresh citrus notes with great notoriety, lime, grapefruit, flower, white fruit, irreproachable trace of pure minerality. Wide mouth, serious, exuberant acidity, salty, long trace. Contains sulfites.

Explore Cardo Red, an authentic expression of Quinta do Cardo, avant-garde in the practice of organic viticulture in Portugal. Located in an idyllic setting, sheltered by the Marofa and Castelo Rodrigo mountains and flanked by the Douro, Côa and Águeda rivers, this farm produces wines of exceptional quality.
This wine, meticulously made from the Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca grape varieties, benefits from partial aging in French oak barrels. It presents an elegant ruby color, enriched with violet nuances, revealing a bouquet of black fruit and cherry, complemented by balsamic notes and spices. On the palate, it reveals itself to be dense, supported by lively, yet softly velvety tannins.
Ideal to accompany a variety of dishes, from meats to pastas and cheeses, Cardo Red is the perfect choice for those looking for a wine that combines tradition, quality and a touch of sophistication.

Pó de Poeira White

When we were preparing the land for planting in 2004 we came across 1 ha of land that had a completely different soil from the rest of the farm, deeper, less stony, more fertile and with greater availability of water. This parcel is in a more sheltered area, with fewer hours of sun exposure. It was evident to us that although we were facing letter A land (considered optimally to produce Port wine), we had an opportunity to produce excellent white grapes. Just like in the red we tried to make a personalized wine with an expressive aroma and with a depth and freshness that characterize all our wines. Contains Sulfites.
