Arinto dos Açores Solera White
40,95 €
Explore Arinto dos Açores Solera White, a wine that captures the essence of a unique terroir, located in the middle of the Atlantic, on the slopes of the Pico volcano. The vineyards, embraced by the sea breeze and protected by walls against saline winds, are cultivated in volcanic soils with histories of up to 2000 years, guaranteeing proximity to the sea that gives the wine an incomparable uniqueness.
The vinification of this example begins with a selective manual harvest, followed by full pressing of the bunches and spontaneous fermentation, without the addition of SO2, in horizontal vats. The wine matures in a Solera system for 4 years, enriching its character.
Presenting a luminous straw yellow color, it reveals intense, tertiary and mineral aromas, with notes of iodine, honeycomb and citrus fruits. In the mouth, it is tense, textured and complex, standing out for its minerality and striking acidity.
Perfect to accompany seafood dishes, sausage, fish broth or stew, Arinto dos Açores Solera White is an exceptional choice for those looking for an intense, fresh wine full of complexity.

Permitido Rabigato White
13,75 €
With grapes from the Douro Superior, very close to the limit of the demarcated region, namely Vinhas Velhas based on Rabigato, the strength of freshness was combined in a very young wine with great aging capacity. Highlight for the altitude of these vineyards, close to 650m, and the granitic soil, which originate wines with excellent storage capacity. After manual harvesting, and transport to the cellar in small boxes (18kg-20kg), the bunches were destemmed and the grapes underwent a short maceration and fermentation at low temperature in stainless steel vats. Aging for 8 months in stainless steel on fine lees. Aging in bottle for 2 months. This wine presents a white fruit on the nose with great intensity, fresh notes and very aromatic. A well-balanced wine in the mouth with a very long, persistent body and endless freshness. Contains sulfites.

Quinta da Pellada Dente D`Ouro Red

"With grapes buying small parcels I make 1/2 barrels of wine and one of these wines is called the Golden Tooth, because the woman who sold me has a golden tooth." Quinta da Pellada Dente D'Ouro spent 16 months in used French oak barrels. The wine is composed of several native grape varieties, mainly Jaen and Baga. The grapes come from a very old vineyard with vineyards, which are between 80 and 100 years old. It is very important for Alvaro Castro to show that it is indeed possible to revive the tradition of blends of native fields and vines in his Dao area. The wine shines with ruby red with violet nuances. It shows a beautiful fresh and mineral scent, thin and incredibly complex, with notes of blackberry and plum. On the palate, a medium concentration, blueberry aromas, notes of spices and some earthy notes, plus unlikely silky tannins, absolutely attractive. A light red wine, elegant and very fresh, juicy, with mineral notes and berries, at a long, deep and very thin finish. Wonderfully multi-layered and with elegant precision. Simply sublime! Contains Sulfites.
