Quinta da Rede Grande Reserva Red
19,49 €
Discover the Quinta da Rede Grande Reserva Red, a superior expression of Douro wines from the Lower Corgo sub-region. This wine is the result of a meticulous vinification process that includes total destemming, prolonged and gentle skin maceration, and alcoholic fermentation in robotic lagares at 26ºC.
After fermentation, the wine matures for 12 months in new French oak barrels, developing an intense garnet color with violet hues. On the nose, it displays a rich aromatic complexity with notes of wild berries, rockrose, and various spices, complemented by a captivating smoky touch.
On the palate, the Grande Reserva is profound and distinctive, full-bodied, with round and silky tannins and excellent acidic balance that brings freshness, reflecting the true character of the Lower Corgo. Perfect for pairing with meat stews, grilled veal, oven-roasted duck, and cured cheeses, it should be served at 18ºC.

Séries Malvasia Preta Red
22,91 €
Malvasia Preta is one of the oldest varieties in the Douro, being present among the Vinhas Velhas of the region, although it was never produced as a single variety. With a distinct profile, it is combined with varieties such as Rufete, Tinta Francisca and Bastardo, which present more exotic and elegant wine profiles, living on intensity and acidity, as opposed to the structured and potent profile that the Douro usually presents us with. The curiosity that leads us to experiment with Malvasia Preta, essentially arises from the fact that it is an original variety from the Douro, being present in the region and resisting the harsh conditions of the terroir. Contains sulfites.
