Encoberta Red
20,95 €
Encoberta is the name of a small town in Penalva do Castelo (Castendo sub-region), where this wine was made with its own grapes. Vineyards aged 28 years at an altitude of 460 m with granite and clay soils are being converted to organic certification since 2020. It ferments with indigenous yeasts in French oak vats and with 35% whole bunch followed by 30 days of cuvaison. Aged for 15 months in used French oak barrels and vats. Naturally stabilized. It is a very characteristic red from Dão, from Penalva do Castelo. A little more fruity, denser and more textured than Serra da Estrela wines, black fruit and spicy notes also in the mouth. Dry, some earthy character, and a slightly tannic finish. Contains sulfites.

Casa da Passarella O Enólogo – Vinhas Velhas Red
16,15 €
Dão wine, Casa da Passarella O Énologo - Vinhas Velhas, is born from a single vineyard with 80 years, so it is through it that we intend to assume the unique terroir of that parcel. The old vineyard is a set of vines of about 24 different grape varieties (including some white grape varieties, as was absolutely normal at the time) that, over the course of almost a century, have naturally adapted to that plot, in perfect harmony. The harvest is manual and done in one go, with the fermentation of the entire blend of grapes made in a traditional cement vat. As a result of the natural balance given by the vine, fermentation takes place spontaneously, without any need to correct the must. So we take over our terroir - with a minimalist wine in our cellar. Vinification in a cement vat with pre- and post-fermentative maceration. Aging for 18 months in oak barrels. It presents an opaque red color, aroma of red fruits with spicy notes. Full-bodied, fresh and elegant with a long and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.
Portal Colheita Red
8,24 €
Vinified at moderate temperatures, these grapes gave rise to a wine with an aromatic profile, marked by the extraordinary Tinta Roriz, which continues to be responsible for the intense aroma of red fruit, namely cherries and some blackberries. Ruby in color, it shows aromas of red fruits and spices, adorned with notes of wood. Structured and fresh in the mouth, it has an excellent acidity and firm tannins. With a long, seductive and complex ending. Do not forget to enjoy this fresh and fresh Douro. But rest assured that it will surprise you after some bottle aging.
Contains Sulfites.
