Discover the Moscatel Bacalhôa Superior 40 Year Old, a true winemaking masterpiece, born from Moscatel de Setúbal grapes from the prestigious Serra da Ursa vineyard, at the foot of the Arrábida mountain range. This exceptional "terroir" is the birthplace of the most renowned fortified wines in DO Setúbal.
After a careful harvest at the end of October 1983 and winemaking that follows the most authentic traditional practices, 40 years later, this unique wine was bottled in a very limited edition of just 200 0.5L bottles. This extraordinary harvest is reserved for equally special future moments.
The aging process of this Moscatel took place in a unique warehouse, under conditions of high natural temperature ranges, favoring an aromatic complexity and incomparable flavors. With an intense amber color, adorned by golden and greenish reflections, it reveals aromas of bitter orange jam, marmalade, tea, dates, fig in syrup, hazelnut and honey.
This Moscatel surprises with its remarkable balance between sweetness, acidity and bitter notes, providing a refreshing and captivating sensation on the palate. With a smooth texture and long finish, this wine is unique. Ideal to be enjoyed at 16-18ºC, at the end of a meal, pairing perfectly with intense cheeses, chocolate and bitter orange desserts, or even with and after coffee.

A limited edition of 500 bottles was created in collaboration with Matthew Vaughn and MARV to celebrate the worldwide release of the film O Homem do Rei. This muscatel is a treasure among Portuguese wines. For over 100 years, 575 liters have aged in oak barrels used in the José Maria da Fonseca winery, Adega dos Teares Velhos, in Azeitão. Contains sulfites.

This Moscatel Roxo is the result of intense work distributed between the vineyard and the winery. The vineyard was accompanied and spoiled all the time so that the yields did not exceed 2500 liters / ha and the grapes arrived at the winery in the sanitary state and ideal maturation. In the Adega winemaking was idealized "own" for this product, different from what was customary in other companies in the region. It consists of an intense selection of bunches followed by a pre-fermentative maceration for 5 days, after which the fermentation is allowed to start very slowly homogeneously throughout the vat reaching 3/4 of the fermentation in 3 days, benefiting this wine with the best wine spirits available in the market selected by the technicians of the company, followed by a post-fermentative maceration of 5 long months. The final stage is made in barrels of 225 liters of French Oak (used 2 to 3 Wines), where it is to concentrate. For this wine were selected the best barrels. It has a dark topaz color, floral aroma and spices. Round, very soft and fresh flavor with very long finish. Contains sulfites.
