The aging process of this Moscatel took place in a unique warehouse, under conditions of high natural temperature ranges, favoring an aromatic complexity and incomparable flavors. With an intense amber color, adorned by golden and greenish reflections, it reveals aromas of bitter orange jam, marmalade, tea, dates, fig in syrup, hazelnut and honey.
This Moscatel surprises with its remarkable balance between sweetness, acidity and bitter notes, providing a refreshing and captivating sensation on the palate. With a smooth texture and long finish, this wine is unique. Ideal to be enjoyed at 16-18ºC, at the end of a meal, pairing perfectly with intense cheeses, chocolate and bitter orange desserts, or even with and after coffee.

A limited edition of 500 bottles was created in collaboration with Matthew Vaughn and MARV to celebrate the worldwide release of the film O Homem do Rei. This muscatel is a treasure among Portuguese wines. For over 100 years, 575 liters have aged in oak barrels used in the José Maria da Fonseca winery, Adega dos Teares Velhos, in Azeitão. The Favaios 10 Anos is a lot wine in which only the best Moscatel harvests are used for its constitution. In the years when nature allows conditions for the caste Moscatel express itself in all its splendor are made some fermentations with a careful selection of grapes. The fermentation takes about three days with intense skin maceration and temperature controlled to 15-16 ° C. The wine spirit is then added to the grapes and must stopped fermenting in order to obtain a wine with high alcohol content and residual sugar. Maceration has already in the presence of brandy it is kept for another 5-6 days always at low temperature. After pressing, the wine begins an aging process in wooden ferries for several years, improving the integration of the brandy with the wine and improving its bouquet. During the aging in wood are chosen the wines that will constitute the lot of Favaios 10 Years, mixing older harvests with younger ones, making the wine richer, more intense and more complex. In Favaios 10 Years, the most typical aromas of the Moscatel variety are felt like the orange peel and the floral ones like the color of orange, linden and roses. At the same time the most typical aromas of aging such as nuts, roasted and honey are evident. In the taste the wine is full of intensity, with excellent acidity that gives it unctuous and long balance. Contains sulfites.

The 20 year old wire is made from the Moscatel grape variety, which is a type of grape that excels in its fruity character, melted with the aroma of tropical fruit, differentiating the muscat wines from any other type of wine. This wine is a batch of 19 harvests in which the youngest crop is at least 20 years old and the oldest one is about 80 years old, resulting in a complex, elegant, aromatic wine with a long end of trial. After receiving the grapes in the cellar, the probable grade of the grapes is analyzed so that the addition of brandy is carried out at the optimum time. Due to tradition, the skin contact is 5 months. In March, the masses are pressed, and the wine that results is filled with the tear wine. Tarnished on hardwood hulls.
