"With grapes buying small parcels I make 1/2 barrels of wine and one of these wines is called the Golden Tooth, because the woman who sold me has a golden tooth." Quinta da Pellada Dente D'Ouro spent 16 months in used French oak barrels. The wine is composed of several native grape varieties, mainly Jaen and Baga. The grapes come from a very old vineyard with vineyards, which are between 80 and 100 years old. It is very important for Alvaro Castro to show that it is indeed possible to revive the tradition of blends of native fields and vines in his Dao area. The wine shines with ruby red with violet nuances. It shows a beautiful fresh and mineral scent, thin and incredibly complex, with notes of blackberry and plum. On the palate, a medium concentration, blueberry aromas, notes of spices and some earthy notes, plus unlikely silky tannins, absolutely attractive. A light red wine, elegant and very fresh, juicy, with mineral notes and berries, at a long, deep and very thin finish. Wonderfully multi-layered and with elegant precision. Simply sublime! The history of the wines of the Casas do Côro begins with the purchase of old vineyards with more than 80 years in Marialva and evolves it by planting 9 hectares of the best white grape varieties. Marialva is a fantastic terroir at 600 meters altitude between Beira Interior and the Douro. With a common origin in the Beira interior, they share a passion for the land where they were born, for their traditions, smells and aromas, and continue to believe and bet heavily on a territory they consider unique. Casas de Côro Red Wine Reserve has a red color with lots of personality and character, fresh but vibrant and still very young and a bit wild. Expressive, almost "violent" with strong aromas of olive, cherry and grove, super sexy tannins, good acidity and very long end of the mouth. Contains Sulfites.

Quinta de Lemos Dona Santana 2015 Red

Touriga Nacional, full and voluminous with the sweet and structured Tinta Roriz and the complex aroma of Jaen, growing on slopes at an altitude between 350 and 400 meters. The vine is grown within an integrated protection program. Infestation control is achieved through soil movement. The harvest is done by hand, grape variety by variety, when the ideal ripening point is reached, normally between the second half of September and the first half of October. The harvest is collected in small 10 kg boxes. These wines are obtained after fermentation at a controlled temperature, in order to preserve all their aromatic elegance, in large wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks, for 20 days. The wine is produced by malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels and has a subsequent maturation period of 18 months to enhance its structure and complexity. Quinta de Lemos Dona Santana is a wine made from four grape varieties from the Dão region, with notes of jelly and cocoa. Ripe, creamy and elegant dark fruits Sweet and attractive finish. .
