Harvest made at different times due to different stages of maturation. Bical harvested in the last week September and harvested Arinto 2nd week October. Fermentation and stage in used barrels of 400 liters during 8 months. Made with Arinto and Bical, to be very thin and elegant in aroma. With mineral notes touches of fresh herb and spices. Young, very classy, wide mouth, very fresh, high quality citrus fruit, discreet smoked, long and distinguished finish. Contains Sulfites.
Kompassus Private Collection Red
Harvest in the 3rd week of October, in dry and hot weather - 35ºC. Balanced maturing, vintage with two choices. Fermentation in open winemaking with 20% of stink and steps on foot. 22 months of stage in new and used barrels of 400 and 700 liters. Full and opulent, perfumed with spicy notes, clay, red and black fruit, very complex, austere and elegant. Powerful but with velvety texture, very fresh acidity, long, seductive, but always serious and reserved.

Cercial harvested in the first week of September, after a prolonged period of rains. while the Arinto was harvested in the 3rd week of October. Total fermentation and 7 months stage in new and used 400 liter barrels. Good connection between fruit and wood, all in a register of good balance. A lot of structure, intense flavor and beautiful acidity. A set of great level with great gastronomic aptitude.

Harvest the last week of August. Balanced maturation, with 3-pass harvest. Fermentation at controlled temperature 14ºC. Grapes transported in perforated boxes of 15 kg. Dehydrated grapes followed by skin maceration. Pressing and fermentation in stainless steel. Stage on lees about 4 years. Dégorgement without added sugar - Brut Nature. With Baga and Touriga, it has a beautiful color of onion peel and a very fine, expressive but at the same time delicate aroma, with wild berries. The aromatic delicacy contrasts with the explosive mouth, resulting in a sparkling full of luster and flavor. Contains sulfites.

Balanced maturation, with a harvest of 3 passages. Fermentation with temperature control at 14ºC. Grapes transported in 15 kg perforated boxes. Light pressing with dry ice cooling. Stainless steel fermentation. Stage on lees for about 3 years. Dégorgement without added sugar - Brut Nature. Excellent aromatic presence, with hazelnut notes, and others that resemble toasted bread, baked apple. Unctuous in the mouth, with a very fine bubble, in a set with a very dry profile but very elegant, sophisticated, long, full of flavour. Delicious. Contains sulfites.
Kompassus Coleção Privada Baga 1991 Red
In 2016, when the 25 years dedicated to the production of wines from Bairrada are celebrated, João Póvoa marked the moment with the launch of Kompassus Baga 1991 - Private Collection. A wine that, as the name suggests, is part of its personal estate, kept since it was established in the production of wines with a trademark registered in 1991. The Kompassus Baga Private Collection 1991 is unique for the rare quality and quantity, and for this reason is released annually in limited quantities of 25 bottles. It is a commemorative edition and belongs to a Super Premium category. Made exclusively from the Baga variety, it was fermented in an open winery with sugar and aged in a 3000 liter tonl for a year and a half. In spite of his joyful 25 years, we still have a wine of intense color, very fine in the aroma and of great complexity of mouth. He shows himself to be the master of a great youth, full of strength and great refinement. In order to ensure the preservation of its quality for a quarter of a century, we only replace the cork so that it can be drunk and enjoyed without any embarrassment. Fermentation and total stage in used barrel of 400 liters during 8 months. Aroma with tropical notes, a lot of freshness and elegance to generate a harmonious juicy and vibrant set. Pre-fermentative maceration in a controlled environment. Total fermentation and 7 months aging in used 400 liter barrels. It is the only Alvarinho da Bairrada, and reveals a great aromatic purity. Delicate and elegant, with orange and light smoky mineral notes. In flavor it is rich and vibrant with hints of spice, slight bitter, a wine with a very long finish. Contains Sulfites.
São João Lote Especial White
The grapes harvested at the ideal time of maturation were gently pressed in a pneumatic press and the must fermented in stainless steel tanks at 16 ° C. After the alcoholic fermentation, battonage was carried out for 3 months. Citrine yellow color, intense and complex aroma to fruits of white pulp, peel and citrus flower, dry vegetable, still presenting mineral nuances. GIZ Vinha das Cavaleiras Red
The grapes that make up this wine were destemmed and fermented in an open press with manual treading. Malolactic fermentation and prolonged aging of 20 months in new (70%) and used barrels, both French oak. Wine naturally stabilized during prolonged aging in barrel. 1400 bottles were produced. Complex and well-defined aroma, with notes of ripe cherry, blueberry and light floral traces. Cedar, forest floor, tobacco box and spice add aromatic complexity. In the mouth it shows to be an elegant wine, full of minerality and freshness, reflecting well the calcareous soils from which it comes. It is simultaneously a deep, structured and complex wine, with a long and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.
GIZ Vinhas Velhas Rose
Lightly pressed grapes with whole bunch. The resulting must was fermented in used barrels, followed by regular batonnage until the date of bottling. Tartaric and protein stabilization achieved naturally during an extended 10-month aging in a barrel. 1440 bottles were produced. Aromas of red, floral fruit. Suggestions of vanilla, brioche and spice add aromatic complexity. In the mouth it shows to be an elegant wine, full of minerality and freshness, reflecting well the calcareous soils from which it comes. It is simultaneously a deep, structured and complex wine. GIZ Vinhas Velhas White
Grapes from different plots and varieties pressed together, with whole bunch. Resulting must fermented in used French (70%) and American (30%) oak barrels, followed by regular batonnage until the date of bottling. Tartaric and protein stabilization achieved naturally during a prolonged 9-month aging in a barrel. 1800 bottles were produced. Citric and floral aromas, reminiscent of orange blossom and lime. Suggestions of vanilla, spice and beeswax add aromatic complexity. In the mouth it shows to be an elegant wine, full of minerality and freshness, reflecting well the calcareous soils from which it comes. It is simultaneously a deep, structured and complex wine, the result of the perfect maturation of the grape during the harvest and the long aging in barrel. Contains sulfites.

The grapes after being harvested by hand are gently pressed in a vacuum press. After a slight decantation, the must fermented with native yeasts in a 650-liter hull and stainless steel tanks at below 16ºC. The 3B (Baga and Bical from an Atlantic region started by B ...) was born from the desire to create a traditional method, aromatic, refreshing, honest and elegant based on the native grapes of vines that respect the farming tradition of the region. Total destemming, soft pneumatic pressing with alcoholic fermentation at 18ºC. Second bottle fermentation according to the traditional method. Aged for 48 months in the bottle. Straw yellow color. Fresh aroma with intensity. Of great elegance, with the presence of fruits such as green apples and pineapples. Balanced and delicate palate, with fresh flavors and notes of nuts and chocolate chip cookies. Contains sulfites.
Quinta do Ortigão Cuvée Bruto White
Total destemming, soft pressing, natural static decanting, alcoholic fermentation at 16ºC, sparkling wine by the classical method and degorgement a la volé. Crystalline appearance with gas release, fine and persistent bubble. Defined citrus color, fruity aroma, discreet in white pulp fruits but persistent, nuances of nuts and light toasted. Fruity and fresh flavor and at the end elegant and harmonious. Contains sulfites.

This Sparkling wine remains in the basement for 48 long months at a constant temperature of 12ºC. Chardonnay shows refinement and freshness, the Arinto with exquisite acidity evidences the potential of the sandy-clay soil of Vinha das Andorinhas located in the Pedreira de Vilarinho. To obtain the structure and preservation potential indispensable to this exceptional Superior Sparkling Wine, only the juices of the whole grape core are used after separation of the first and last extraction. The grapes are left to ferment for the first time, turning the juice into wine base. The permanence in cuba allows the development of the complexity of the aromas and the structure of Sparkling Superior ELPÍDIO. The elegance and delicacy of the aroma suggest soft notes of white flesh fruits, remembering pear and apple, with slight citrus fruit and some toasted. The persistence and creaminess revealed by the long stage, wrapped in perfect freshness and mousse, contribute to a deep and sophisticated finish. Contains sulfites.
